I know that this board doesnt work with the GF4 MX, but I also read on the amdmb forum that there is a fix and that newer versions of this board have the fix for it. I was wondering if there is any way of telling if you have the board with the fix. I got my board on the 1st of June so im asuming that the fix would be there, but is there any way of telling?

Call your vendor and give them the SKU # of your mobo and ask them when it was shipped to them from Taiwan
If it was shipped to them after late April - you "should" have the fix

As for how do you visually inspect the motherboard to tell if it has the fix, I dont know the answer to that. Maybe someone else does

For what it is worth, the GF4 MX is a pretty crappy video card for the money (just my opinion) If I were you Id save the worries and get a comparably priced GeForce 3 Ti200 or a ATI Radeon - both will perform better than a GF4 MX
