Hi guy's,

Here are new drivers >>Click here<<

Download the package, then use Winrar (Don't know if Winzip can do it) and extract the package.
In there you find a "drivers" subdirectory, start setup inside that directory and it will install the new drivers.
Those drivers are for Win2000/XP/XP64, they are working great here.
But the software can't be used/installed, only the drivers can be updated.
However, the MSI tools that come with the MSI driver package work great with the updated drivers.
Ergo, install the MSI package first, then only update the drivers as described above.
One major bugg is still in there, you can use SF2 soundbanks over approx 80MB in size, just like the MSI package can't.

Hi !
Unfortunatly there is no EAX 4.0 support with this drivers installed, although the driver was intended to give this support.

Hello !!

Strange.....if you go to Creative Labs Website and use their Auto Updating Tool, it will install the latest Live! 24 Bit drivers.
The driver works, but the onboard Chip will be recognized as Live! 24 Bit Card.
The CA0106-DAT seems to be used on several creative cards, i wonder if it would be possible updating this little creative labs eeprom, that identifies the card, or is readout by drivers. I remember that on K8N Diamond without Plus, there was a little util to updating this eeprom, it was intended to fix a driver installing issue.  :rolleyes_anim:

Thanks Bas.  I went to the Creative website to get the latest drivers before I saw this thead because I was playing Tomb Raider with messed up cracking and popping sounds.  I downloaded the driver, but it wouldn't install.  After reading your post on how to properly install it, I have success and perfect sound in the game now.
