Hello, this may seem like a stupid question but I just want to take precautions. Tomorrow i'll be needing to remove everything from my current motherboard (K8T NEO-FIS2R) which includes a Radeon 9800XT. At the moment it's nicely secured into the AGP slot with the clip/hook also holding it down. I've noticed the clip/hook holds it down pretty tightly and i'd just like to know what the proper method of releasing the hook/clip from the video card is?

Thanks

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah thats why I came here I thought there might have been a 'special' way to do it. Anyway, I successfully got it off, I did have to take everything else out of my case first though, I couldn't get a good grip on it until I had plenty of room.

Thanks again

Next time you have to remove the video card, gently push it towards the motherboard to take some of the tension off of the AGP hook.
