MY PROBLEM!


please click on the link above to view my problem. i would love to hear any suggestions possible. and as soon as you can would be great. this is for a client and i cannot seem to comprehend the source of the problem and i dont want to rma something and have it turn out to be something else. Hi!

i got a similar problem with my msi board, except min hangs either when copying file, installing win(after copying files) and when it succeds to install win i got problems when i install the mobo drivers (via 4 in 1 goes trough but its either gblan or ac97 drivers that hangs the comp )

have u tried to pull the power cable of and resetting the cmos with the jumper?? i had to do that when my coputer hanged during either copying files or installing win.

all in all.. i had to rma the board... i think i got a faulty ide controller or its some thing else on the mobo. Btw i use westerndigital hdd:S. one 120gb and one 80 gb (8mb cache on both). dont know if its a issue with using wd hdds and this mobo.

thanx that helps quite a bit .. but i dont know for sure if its the motherboard or the ram .. cause now it just will not turn on .. i take off all the power plugs and unplug everything except for the cpu, ram, and video card and i even tried it without the video card .. but i press the power and the cpu fan goes on and the case fan goes on but nothing happens and then the fans just stop .. i tried it without the case fan also and nothing .. its just too weird for me and i have already gotten the motherboard rma# but i dont want to send it back if its not that .. what if it is the ram .. errrrrrrrrg! thanx for all the help more is definitely needed .. :] thanx .. :]
