It's unofficial, but with a little bit of fiddling the driver works.
I tried some and as far as I remember install "manually" by using the second inf file in the WinXP folder.

Well I'm on a WinXP64 machine using these drivers to connect to this forum.

Thx to lgoldson!

"I played with some drivers I got from Realteks taiwan web site and got the NIC drivers to work. Internet Explorer 6 64 bit is awesome. Link follows, be advised my M/B is MSI"

Took me a while to get the URL right

Official Beta A64 driver is out too. Running it now.

Realtek told me that at the official launch of WinXP64 there will be a "final" driver for the Gbit NIC.

Nice, will give the realtek driver a go. What about a Sblive beta driver? Anyone knows were to get such a thing?

Creative Live! driver request:

Creative (Asia) gave an answer that tells little:

"Thank you for contacting technical support.

Regarding your enquiry, I'm sorry to inform you that at this current
moment, we do not have support driver for Windows XP 64-bit.

Hope that answer your query"

Creative America was bureacratic. Wanted to know the exact model and annoying about warning about OEM card. Which my card isn't. Bulk Yes. OEM NO. WTF
So no answer at all from them really

Creative Europe: Still waiting.

Realtek onboard AC97 sounddriver request:

Realtek sounded more positive on the onboard soundchip(ALC655) driver. At least they're busy developing it.

And I got the beta AMD64 NIC driver from Realtek. Sso I have more hope in getting the Realtek onboard soundchip AMD64 driver soon, then a driver from Creative for my Live!

I tried the zip you linked but it cannot be installed. I installs with an error: "flags not supported" for the A inf file and another one that says: "Not compatible with this platform" for the B inf file.

Did you find another, better beta driver for the realtek card? Where can I find one?
