OK heres where we are at. We (my friend and I) order the following hardware:
MSI K8T800
AMD 3200+ 64
1 gig mushkin black level II
530 watt PSU
maxtor 80 gig 7200 rpm.
radeon saphire 9800 pro 256
and asorted other things.

The problem :
The first time we booted after having ONLY the GPU 1 stick of RAM and the processor, at BIOS screen, it Read "system device not found". "No BIOS loaded".
But it looks like it has bios. Meaning I can go into bios and change options. So I changed it to first boot cd rom so I could run setup. It started formatting the drive. That went ok but as soon as the format was finished I got the BSOD. Now I cant get anywhere with it. It keeps tellin me (after it posts and tries to boot to something) "missing NTLDR". I cant get back to OS setup screen or anything. I have cleared CMOS and nothing seems to help. I dont really want to RMA this because I want to get it set up and running. Anyone have a clue what might be goin on here?
Please help.

Seen that...done that...

The bios not loaded part is just about setting up the bios, think you got that right!!

I also got the NTLDR part and what i think you missed is to pull out the power cable when resetting the cmos. that worked for med but it seems you got some other problems with the BSOD. i got that too, could?nt install win... systems hangs on either copying files, installing windows(after copying files) and when i finaly managed to install win, i got problems when installing the onboard stuff. I RMA my board, see if i get one that work... i?ll post ya!!

What wonka said. You just have to disable the Promise Raid in the BIOS. You'll find it under Intergrated Peripherals and the submenu of Onboard PCI Controllers. Then just set P.20378 Controller to Disabled.
