Hello folks!
I am psyched to have acquired a second live server board with 2pcs 6 core Opteron CPUs and 32GB of server memory, all seemed to work wonderfully well, till I hoped to boot from DVD to install Linux on it!
Imagine my surprise that neither optical drives nor hard disks seem to be an option in the BIOS provided NVIDIA boot manager! In fact there is only the network boot option!

The motherboard has MS9661 VER 1.1 on it as additional identification and the socketed Phoenix BIOS says 006973722 on its holo-sticker...
If I was to flash the latest BIOS from K9ND downloads somehow, would that give me the missing options?
How would I go about doing that?

Thanks in advance for any hints!

I take it your boot menu is not similar to this with the various drives listed?

Still facing the problem how to write the BIOS with a regular version giving all the standard boot options...
Is there a JTAG port or some way to program the BIOS on board? Are there services that I could send my BIOS chip to to be rewritten?
Any hints a highly appreciated!

Which BIOS should work on this board and why can't I download it? Downloads point to empty files!
Thanks for your time!
