Katana GF76 11UD-001, only allows 1 hard drive?

I have done a bunch of research on this and found no definitive answers, but I think this is all correct, and that in order to add a SATA drive to these machines you have to have a bracket to mount it. Can anyone confirm this with any official documentation or links?

Katana GF76 11UD has only 1 SSD Slot and no other place for a 2nd Drive.

out that line only the Katana GF76 11UE has 2 M.2 SSD Slots Only.

Thanks for the reply, but I am almost completely positive that the Katana GF76 11UD-001 has one M.2 port, and one Sata port,

My question is for an official source on whether a bracket is required to install a 2.5" drive to the left of the battery and exactly which one is required.

I have owned this laptop since it came out last summer, going on 7 months now. I can confirm 100% it has a separate SATA connection located near the front of the laptop. I upgrade the M.2 drive, added 32GB of RAM from the stock 16Gb, and added a SSD. Your are correct, the mounting bracket for the laptop are not included. This is a huge oversight from MSI. How and why they are not include, is beyond me. So while you can add an SSD, you will need to find a mounting bracket for it, or else it will not set in place. Its going to be required, not suggested. Hope that helps you guys. *PS: If you need help taking the bottom off, I can tell you there's an extra screw under some tape, that your cant see till you brake the sticker, if you do not take this screw off, the bottom will not come off, and YOU WILL CRACK the bottom case. So be careful. You will know there is something wrong, because you are going to have removed all the screws you can see, but its still not coming off, and feels tight. Its because theres a center tiny screw left, hidden under some tape, it might be black, I cant remember, bit its under the tape, in the center of the laptop. You've been warned.*

I'm about to get a new Katana GF76 11UD-001. Can you tell me if there is problem with high temperature especially when you run high-end games?
Are the fans loud when they are trying to cool off the laptop?
Also, i think the keyboard is a little weird for me coming from an HP laptop. Do you think i m gonna find it difficult to get used to typing on it?
Regarding the mounting bracket, i suppose a bracket for a 2.5'' SSD should do, right? i have a spare from my old laptop.. Is it possible that you upload some pics of this hidden screw?

Sorry for the late reply. I took photos, and tried to upload them, but they are too large for even one to upload. You may have already done it now. But there is one in the center of the laptop. It might be hidden under some black rubber, not tape. I am going off memory of nearly 7 months ago, give or take. The one with tape, is on the side of the laptop, its gray tape, kinda clear. It has a screw on the side. Lap can get hot, but download the MSI Center is a must. It keeps things up to date. There was a BIOS update on the website, that just came out a month ago, make to sure to update your BIOS. There is and advanced setting, in the Advanced BIOS, Google how to get to it in the BIOS for MSI mother boards. Its not going to show unless you press the correct buttons. Once you get in there, you can change other things. There is two settings in power options. One is called Balanced, one is Performance. I have it on Performance. Because I want it for when I play games. With the MSI Center, there is options to "User Scenario" You can tweek it under user mode, or pick the Turbo, Battery modes, and others. The fan is loud, but it needs to be to keep the laptop from getting hot. You can put it to super battery, or whatever you like. The fan will stay quite in those modes other than turbo, but you can feel it getting hot in the center, which is not good. So you pick whatever works for you. The User setting lets you chose your fan option in one of them, and you can pick what works best. At times you just keep it at balanced for when your not playing games, than pick turbo when you play games, but turn it off when not playing games, as it just waists power, and runs your fans high for no reason. When it gets hot, just pick the highest fan setting, under user mode, and put the CPU to like Medium. Theres overclock settings too in there for when you game too.
