katana keys stop working until reboot

My Katana GF76 12UGS has been having an issue for the past month or so where two keys will not work until I reboot, and then for only a few hours.
My guess is that since a reboot works, it's a software problem and not a dirty switch problem.
Has anyone seen this problem before. It seems to only effect the R and D buttons.

Try to do EC reset to re-scan the hardware. Shutdown the laptop and unplug the AC adapter > long press the power button for over 25 seconds > plug in the AC adapter and power it on
