Keeping the Gamma Setting when going into games

Hello.

I have just bought the Geforce 4 4400 a great product runs great!.

However, every time I load a game the card default the gamma settings to the default (Ultra Dark) settings. I have setup perfect gamma settings while at the desktop. But, as I said once I load a game the settings default to Uber dark. I have attempted to turn the gamma settings in the games I have to max and still it is too dark to see anything.

is there a setting or registry hack that I can use to make the screen color depth and gamma setting remain no mater what mode or resolution I have in a game.

My Matrox G400 performed this beautifully, too bad it doesn't have the rendering power of the Geforce.

You can use for example PowerStrip .. very good manager for video card and monitor. With this software you can make display profile with gama setting you need and PowerStrip will keep this setting while he is running.

You can also use the drivers you already have to set up color profiles.

If you go to video display properties / settings / advanced/nview/color display you can create mulitple color profiles.

Then, check the icon (can't remember its location at the moment) to display the nview settings on your control bar. You can then select different color profiles from there before entering into a game.

I'll check later to see if you found the profiles.
