Kernel Power 41 (63) in MSI Vector 16 HX A14V

i think we will have to wait and see if it starts failing, if you didnt buy laptop yet i personally would avoid intel 13th and 14th gen currently. Also this is not MSIs fault, its fully on intel.

Yes ofc I understand MSI's and Intel's place in this situation. My problem is, I want to refund it. I bought it from a local electronics distributor in my country. My claim is, it does not work as intended. The distributor sends the laptop to MSI for technical check because it is under MSI's warranty. MSI says there isn't a problem in the product. They sent it back to the distributor. The distributor says, there isn't a problem in the product according to MSI so you can't have a refund. As a customer idk what can I do after this.

Indeed, if there are no hardware issues, a refund will not be accepted. I believe the service center staff might not have conducted a thorough inspection or they might have only run some basic diagnostic software, so they did not see the same issue you are experiencing. I recommend that you continue to contact the service center and explain how you encountered the problem and the steps to reproduce it, so they can see the issue for themselves. This way, they will be better equipped to identify the cause of the problem.

I can play on normal fps and temps without disabling turbo boost in the bios by enabling processor boost mode in windows.
My processor boost mode was set to aggressive by default. I just set it do enable and still get little thermal throttling and some temp spikes but seems stable for now.
When i select performance mode in MSI center i still get overheating. In balanced mode i get same FPS as i had before with performance mode and i have to use cooler boost when gaming.
I think there is still some issue with my laptop. I will try dedusting my laptop and see if it helps.

Here is how to do it.

Is it normal that with we have to setup our laptops that cost 2000+ so they wont overheat and such?
I see a lot of people having same problems with high end gaming laptops.
