A group of keys on my laptop randomly stop working, then just as unexpectedly start working again. It's an MSI Modern 14 C12M. I've tried everything—updating the BIOS, updating the drivers, entering the password into the BIOS, and deleting devices in the Device Manager. I like the laptop, but with this problem, it's turning into garbage. Maybe I should replace the keyboard?
All function keys work. Only the text keys and Enter key are glitchy.

I have the same problem on Summit E13 AI Evo A1MTG.
On performance mode or connecting to power supply, it goes better. But it won't be completely resolved.

Have you updated the firmware?

The problem was solved by replacing the keyboard. But after a while, the new one started glitching too. Just when I'd tried everything under the sun trying to figure out the cause and was about to throw the laptop out the window in a rage, I decided to inspect the keyboard connector. It's made of something like celluloid with printed contact tracks. The tracks were 0.5 mm short of the edge of the film. Using a scalpel and a ruler, I trimmed off 1 mm along the entire length, inserted it into the connector, reassembled it, and, lo and behold! Everything works! I'm writing to you from my beloved laptop, but gray hairs and wasted nerves can't be brought back. Thank you for your attention.

P.S. It's a shame I threw out the old keyboard - maybe the problem was similar.
broo i really need help i am at point where am gonna throw my lappy i done evrything in software but my key still making problem there are dead zoone sometime key pressed 1 time input multiple letter in lappy what do i do helppppp

Ultimately, the new keyboard started falling apart too. I am not prepared to buy a new keyboard and replace it every six months. Since the company offers no solutions—and doesn't even comment on the issue—buying MSI laptops is out of the question for me from now on.
