I live in Japan, but my operating system is in English.

Although the Qualcomm installer allows me to choose an install language, whatever is chosen only changes the installation instructions and has no effect on the actual outcome of the installation. The network manager app uses Japanese no matter what is selected.

Some notes:

1) Using Applocale set to English to launch the installer does not change the result.
2) Changing my location to English-speaking countries in the Windows settings does not change the result.

How can I install the network manager in English?

Hi,
What's your killer Lan driver version?
Have you try the latest versio according from your MSI laptop model web page?

Yes, I have used the latest from MSI GT70 drivers page.

I don't understand the purpose in a language selection screen on the installer when it actually has no effect on what is actually installed. Anyway...

I think the solution is to change the whole system time/date off Japan, and then try again. But, this also occurs with other installers (some remedied by applocale, some not), and I am not particularly fond of doing that every time, even if it works. I can read the Japanese, but it is not intuitive at all.

Wishing there was some way around this.

Bit of a necropost, but I have a horrible kludgy solution.

You want to go to your Killer Network Manager folder in the Program files menu. You should see a folder called translations. Inside will be a bunch of language folders.

Copy the files in the language you want (English for example being "KillerHelp_English.html"and "Tranlation.lng".

Now go to the folder for the language you are currently stuck in (Japanese) and replace KillerHelp_ja.html and "Tranlation.lng", changing the English help file's name to match the Japanese one.

After you reboot, the network manager should be in English.

Pretty simple huh?

I was also stuck in Spanish (I'm Spanish but I like everything in English), your workaround worked like a charm. Thanks!
