I’ve updated to this bios with my B550 Unify X. Tried all 3 settings for the Kombo Strike and none of them did anything when I tested it with Warzone. Clock speeds stayed the same at 4450 clock speed which is what I get at stock speed.

It is more aimed at reduced temps and improved multi core applications will not do al lot to single core applications beside reduce overall CPU temps.
You should get improved scores with Cinebench

Thanks Alan! Yes I've noticed an increase in Cinebench scores. In what ways will the new CPU Offset Voltage (-) work for me and at what value is a safe starting point?

Safe should be -20 but -25 should also be OK I have my 5900 set for -30 on all but one core it is set to -25 if I go lower I will get the odd restart under no load.

The 5800X3D has been tested at -30 all cores with good results. But CPU do vary a bit and may get stable at -30 all cores or may need to bum up to-29 or higher.

It took me about a week till I got mine dialed in.
You may also be able do on the FLY setting using Ryzen Master once you have it all set up. Not sure if it will work with the R7 5800X3D but you can have a look.

Ok, when I had my 5800X, I set my Curve Optimizer value to -15. Does this work the same as Curve Optimizer?

CPU Offset voltage is different to the Curve Optimiser.
I did notice that when you only lower the offset voltage the performance goes down aswell. It wont boost as high as before. The only time you would see a performance gain with voltage offset is if you are power or temperature limited (like with the 5900X and 5950X CPU's they have the same TDP for 12 or 16 cores as a 5800X(3D) for only 8).
You can get the performance back by using the new Kombo Strike feature. I dont know what MSI did to get the performance up but i guess they use PBO settings that are normally locked to increase the performance and stuff like the -CO. Maybe KS1 is CO -10 and KS2 CO -20 ect. But im not sure about that.

With a combination of KS Mode 2 and - offset voltage im now able to have a cooler running CPU with better multi thread performance compared to the 1.2.0.6C bios. But i have to lower my BCLK a bit for that because my CPU is not stable with higher KS values. I would have been great to have these options with the 1.2.0.6C bios then it would probally be 2% faster compared to this 1.2.0.7Beta.

No there is no release schedule odds are I will get a PM when more are released and I will add to the list of available.
All you can do is check back from time to time

I know Kombo Strike is still in beta mode, but hopefully they do something to increase clocks for gamers. As for now it's only minimal games in certain situations.

Not what it is for it is not to boost FPS or Clocks in Games but more aimed at Higher sustained clock in Multi core applications and to reduce overall temps it dose that in most cases.
GN has a beef with MSI incase you did not notice that so would take there report with a grain of salt. Like he said it works but needs a tweaking.

I do think these results are valid. I also see some differences between the pre KS bios.
And their non KS results are from a GA board that might boost more similar to the AGESA 1.2.0.6 MSI BIOS:

10min + 3DMark CPU Profiler Max Thread loop:
AGESA 1.2.0.6C 190 BIOS

Here you can see my results. Some things are strange. Especially the KS2 voltages. i dont really get what is going on between KS1,2 and 3. I really wonder what the PBO settings for these configurations are.
This new bios is a lot more power efficient at the loss off performance. Performance per watt is better with this bios so for most users this would be recommended. But for max overclocking the 1.2.0.6C is still faster and more stable but also uses slightly more power. Especially the 1T-8T results can be better with the 1.2.0.6C Bios. Max thread and 8T can be strong with the Kombo Strike Bios if your cpu is stable. I still have to do some game testing. But with lightly threaded workloads i do suspect little difference when using KS and no voltage offset. 1-2T boost clocks are similar then.

Its to bad GN did not test the MSI board with a 1.2.0.6C bios instead of reusing the Gigabyte results.

A month has passed and no more bios for other motherboards yet. We do exist.
List your build please>>Posting Guide<<
Some are going strait to MSI Website for board I do not get any notification on them and I not searching over 130 boards to see what has received.

Never know every ones hero Steve may have upset the apple cart with his negative You-Tube Review.
