Heya.

Can anyone tell me a couple of things:

1) Whether MSI have enabled the PWMs on the motherboard allowing for fan speed control?

2) How PCAlert3 does this? I'm getting a couple of fans which I'd like PCAlert to slow down a bit for me.

3) Whether SpeedFan will be supported on this board? Currently it crashes when loading. Is this due to an issue with the motherboard, or with the program itself?

Hi Ben,

1) unknown, but it's not working with SpeedFan.

2) It's not working with PC Alert3 too :(

3) Yes, partially. You can use SpeedFan to monitor the temperatures, fan speed, but not alter the fan speed.

The crash is due to the program itself. You need to add /nosmbscan optional command parameter to the speedfan.exe, ie

"C:\Program Files\SpeedFan\speedfan.exe" /nosmbscan
