Hi everyone,
I just bought the MSI MEG342C QDOLED and I'm at the hardware connecting part.
With my PS5 and hdmi 2.1 (cable within the monitor box), everything works fine;
With my Macbook Air M3 and USB-C to USB-C (cable within the monitor box), the mouse (Razer) and keyboard (Dell) both connected directly to the Monitor in the USB ports, everything works fine;
With my laptop Lenovo Legion Y540 or my Lenovo Thinkpad from work, connected to the monitor with miniDP (computer) to DP (monitor) or HDMI to HDMI (2.0 I guess), the mouse and the keyboard do not work anymore (both still connected to the monitor directly, classic USB). Current troubleshooting: mouse and keyboard only work when connected to laptop directly... Does anyone know if there are additional settings to do? Installing something from MSI website? I didn't add anything yet.
The KVM settings is set to Auto, and when changing the output sources (PS5 is HDMI, Macbook is USB-C, both Laptop are HDMI1 or DP), the laptops (Windows 11 both) don't recognize the mouse and keyboard.
I could connect the mouse and keyboard directly to the laptop and use bluetooth devices for my Mac, but the feature provided with the screen would be not used which is sad. And not a big fan to change mouse and keyboard all the time...
