My MSI Katana 17hx b14wgk laptop's screen flickers and goes black when I unplug it. This happens when the battery is set to 240Hz, but the problem resolves when I enable screen power saving mode through MSI Center. Does anyone know the reason for this? Should I send it to service? (Note: There is no problem when the screen is set to 60Hz)
I've enabled automatic refresh rate, but it switches to 60Hz when unplugged, and 240Hz when plugged in, and I haven't encountered this problem. Some people who have experienced this issue say that the battery isn't powerful enough for the 240Hz refresh rate, and I think they're right. What do you think?
I experience this problem more often with the Game Ready driver, but it's more stable with the Nvidia Studio driver.
