led keybord npt working

i am having same problem keyboard light are on but i can not control them and the Steel GG {got the latest installed 48ver} APP dose not show a keyboard.. the windows device manger shows a P/S 2 stander keyboard in stalled not a Steel P/S 2 keyboard it looks like Windows will not install the steel keyboard is what wrong . and yes i have done all the stuff the troubles shooting page said to do......... WE need a driver for the steel keyboard that windows 11 will let install i have been building computers since 1985 so i do know how to trouble shoot . when i got this laptop raider GE78HX 13VI 079US the GG app showed a Keyboard and it was not connected in the app. { app was ver 38,} when i updated to ver 48 the keyboard was removed but on install it showed 2 devices but never installed the driver is what i guess because windows 11 would not let it . the keyboard works but you can not control any lights or setting on it because there is no driver for it ???????? is there a fix for no steel keyboard driver in stalled .and the spec do show a RGB keyboard on this laptop. the matrix lights work and can be controlled. look at scr shot it dose show a steel driver load at one time but it looks like win 11 keeps removing it ??????

Reinstall SteelSeries GG, then perform Windows Update. Then Steel P/S 2 keyboard driver will be installed automatically. It works for me every time.

no it will not!!!!!! i did all that!!!!!!! WE NEED A STAND ALONE DRIVER TO INSTALL TO FORCE WINDOWS TO USE IT

I know your trying to help but you need to know what your talking about on my laptop its the FN key and F8 turn on and off the light . you need to read what wrong in the post the light work BUT CAN NOT BE CONTROLED to change the colors all the do is blink all the different colors i can not turn them all red BECAUSE WIN 11 WILL NOT LOAD THE STEEL KEYBOARD DRIVER WHEN I LOAD THERE CG SOFTWARE IT SEE 2 THINGS THAT USE THE LIGHT CONTROLS BUT ONLY LOADS THE MATRIX LIGHT I CAN CONTROL THEM AND THEY WORK FINE BUT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE ENGINE IN THE SOFTWARE IT ONLY SHOW THE MATRIX ANS NO STEEL KEYBOARD THAT BECAUSE WIN 11 LOADS A STANDER PS2 KEYBOARD . I HAVE TRY ALL THE THING PEOPLE SAID TO DO BUT WIN 11 WILL NOT LOAD THE RIGHT KEYBOARD DRIVER I NEED A STAND ALONE STEEL ENGINE KEYBOARD DRIVER SO I CAN FORCE WILL 11 TO USE IT !!!!!!!!!!!

yes mine will only load a stander ps2 keyboard win11 will not let the steel engine drive . and yes i have the new CG 50 and it will not load the driver ???? when i load the CG it shows 2 devices but after loading when you go to the engine sub menu it only show the Matrix is loaded and i can control the colors for it . Win11 for some reason will not load the steel PS2 KEYBOARD. i thinking it has something to do with the way win 11 handles drivers and that they have to be a proved for CORE ISOLATION bull crap i have try deleting {removing} all keyboard drivers and a clean install but it did not work i have been making my own home computer from back in the 1980 so i am not new to driver crap . this laptop was a open box buy from newegg no warranty got 600$ off ,this may be why ,may have to pop the back off and see if all the wires in the plug on keyboard are plug in, may be my next step, got to find out where it plugs in at and check ? its just strange and when loading the CG it show 2 devices but dont show it in the APP engine sub menu ?

i dont use file from forums dont really know what they are. if you know what i mean could just be a hack . i wish Steel or MSI would put the driver file on there web for people to down load .
 
An old trick I used to use in the Sound Blaster 5.1 days, when the SB card was not being recognized; was to execute the setup/installation.exe, determine where the setup files were being extracted to and then copy all of the extracted installation files (including *.inf, *.drv, ect....) to a temporary directory.

After that, it was a process of elimination to find a compatible driver from within the extracted installation files for the "unknown device" in device manager.
 
well found the steel ps2 driver in the program files got it to force it to use it still dose not work . something in this key board is bad , o well got it as a open box cheap everything else work . thank for the help. the driver is in Program file/steel/GG/APPS/engine/driver. if your looking for it . may try one more thing but not gone to worry about it
