Yup, so I got an answer 2 days ago that they're working on the fix, and seems like it's out already :)

Hi When I boot up computer it goes straight into blue screen.
We have tried to  boot into safe mobe  via shift f8 not work
We have tried to boot from Dvd abd usb altering boot in bios nothing changed
We have remover the windows  hard drive to try full re install  still the same
We have updated bios via flash  still the same
the only time its slightly different it  when u put windows  10 disc in,  then boot, goes  to msi logo  then  press any  key, then window logo for 15 to 20 seconds then BSod (This happens with or without the windows hard drive in the machine
Just hoping there is some way the  motherboard can help in bios some how
This all happened the other night  when the  live update 6 DL think it was Wedensday night
The build is approx 5 months old with  no problem recorded at all been great motherboard and  GC nothing is  overclocked either.
Any ideas helpful have  read  hundreds of ways to try to re instal windows and  get rid of Blue Screen of  death SYSTEM THEAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED
Thanks

Please open your own topic. Because this one is about Liveupdate, many helping users will not even read this post.
See you later,

I have a msi h61m-p23 (b3) mobo and running latest live update. On trying to update bios it shows none available yet on website there are still 4 bios updates available. I'm currently on 17.6. Even mflash doesn't want to flash beyond 17.6

Because v19.0 and above is for Ivy Bridge CPUs.
Please open own topic if you're facing issues with updating BIOS as it's not really relevant to liveupdate.

Hello,
Yesterday I just booted my PC as usual, and i noticed the new bios update(it was not bios version update, but something called flash bios lights or blinkers or something like this) through MSI Live Update software and decided to click "Total Installer". Then my PC just turned off suddenly at some point during this process, because of this faulty update and never turned back on. Now i cannot even start my PC at all. Didn't even touch any hardware at all. Only the power button lights red and some light dot blinks slowly on the right side of the motherboard. Debug LED doesn't light as well. I press the power button and absolutely nothing happens, zero response from the motherboard/PC. I am so upset and don't know what to do. My PC was working perfectly fine and just because of this faulty update i can't use my PC anymore. When I press power button(on the motherboard or the case) nothing happens at all. I tried to switch bios, clear CMOS, removed battery, shorted 2-pin JBAT1, but nothing changes the situation. Please help!!
Thank you very much in advance!

Thats sad... If your mobo supports Flash Bios Button, Live Update should not be used for anything Bios related (MSI itself doesn't recommend it)... It's very weird that switching Bios didn't worked... I guess your only option is contacting MSI itself...

I'm using live update 6 and when I scan for updates it finds an update for MSI Gaming App version 6.2.9.96 to 6.2.9.97. When I try the update it fails staying on the version 6.2.9.96.  The only thing I see is Utility for gaming series vga products. note: need install vga driver to enable gpu overclock. My entire system is up to date. Is this update not for my system?

Hi,

I have a B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC and I need to update the bios in order to change my cpu for a Ryzen 3600.

Can I update it via Live Update or should I do it manually ?

Okay, I have the flash bios button on this motherboard, so it shouldn't be difficult to do it then.

Thanks for your reply.

After my manual bios update I plan to reinstall a clean Windows version.  What's the recommended way to install all the drivers ? Using Live Update and let it find and install all driver by irself, or going on the site to pick up every drivers and install them one by one ?
