I don't know if you've had some troubles, but the latest 9.76-Logitechdrivers (March 26 2003) are very good. Logitech did a good job.

Allthough they aren't WHQL-certified yet, I've been using them for a few months now, without any troubles or failures. Even the in-game preformance is marvelous from scratch.

I even don't need the "Advanced Settings Utility For MouseWare 9.76 and Above".

I get a weird problem with my trackerball mouse - When clicking repeatedly on the down arrow of a slider bar, occasionally the mouse throws in a flurry of "automatic" clicks that I never entered. It's extremely irritating, because I then have to click back to where I was in the list before the extra clicks :angryfire:

I'm sure my actual mouse clicks aren't being buffered and then actioned all in a rush. It must be the mouse driver anticipating that as I've done quite a few clicks in a short time it would be helpful to throw in another couple of dozen !

I found something similar, and so switched to a Microsoft mouse (ironic, isn't it, that the best things made by a company with "soft" in its name are hardware).

Look in the "mouse properties" section of control panel and set your mouse click speed to something a little slower and see if that helps.
