Guessing you got that motherboard Second Hand? i Say that as that looks like a ASUS Thermal Sensor from a old X99 Deluxe motherboard there is nowhere on the mpg z390 gaming edge ac to connect that sort of thing.
You are 100% correct, Last one BestBuy had as a clearance sale for 153. It its absolutely used as small marks can show evidence. Thank you so much for teh response.

Had to be second hand, that board model is not sold new anymore since circa 2021. When it came out in 2018, it was around 140 EUR/USD, so I don't know how the hell they got to that what I presume to be US$ 153. Maybe they adjusted for inflation and today's high board prices in general. But honestly, by now, the board should be half that price. It can make some sense if you got a 9700K or 9900K for cheap and already have good DDR4 RAM for example.

Citay I am in jersey , you know how they roll here, nothing get cheaper, plus you be surprised what they are still charging for these motherboards online. I did have a 9900ks a friend gave away, plus 64gb of ddr4 plus my 64gb=128gb and I figured investing $153 USA crappy dollars around that was not a bad deal for now, till i win the lottery, then I can just teleport myself into the games lolololo.

I paid $180.00 (U.S.) for a Z370 back in 2018. I think their clearance sale wasn't much of a clearance.

Then it can be reasonable to get such a board. Although, if you don't have any professional workloads requiring that huge amount of RAM, you'd be better off only using whichever is the faster kit of 2x 32 GB. Because combining two such kits, especially a different make and model, will not only double the stress on the memory controller, but those would also use different memory chips which usually results in issues or a bad compromise in settings at least. And of course, if you don't have workloads that go above 64 GB RAM utilization, you would have zero benefit from this, only downsides.

Not sure how a German Forum member is going to know just how they roll in Jersey

He must have seen my "NYC" avatar, and from there, it would only be a stone's throw away. It's all good 😄
