Mag 550 Mortar Wifi Motherboard

Hello,

I have been using Mag 550 Mortar Wifi motherboard since 1 month. I have Zotac 3080 Trinity Oc gpu. I would like to use first port(underneath of Lightning Gen m2) to get a better ventilation in my case.
Have 2 PCI_E slot and whenever I try to use first port(PCI_E1), bios warning led turns on and warning voice beeps. Therefore, I have been using bottom port(PCI_E4) without any problem.
I cleared CMOS and switch bios settings to Gen3,Gen1 nothing has changed., suspecting might be a problem on first(top) PCI_E1 socket.
Could you help me out please?

It's the latest version

Can be CPU cooler mounting pressure sometimes (although more likely on Intel, due to the socket pins there), see here.

Secondly, it can be the CPU itself, see here.

Is the CPU also new, or have you used it in your previous board before? What even is your CPU (and PSU)?

If PCIE_1 has not worked since you have had the board but bottom one will can be damage to GPU itself or PSCIE_1 is faulty or CPU has a Fault. Is hard to work out unless you have the ability to swap out components.

Your PCIE slot need more examination with higher magnification and more light May have mushed pins in it but hard to tell from the image you supplied

My rig is brand new, Phanteks 750W 80+ Gold Tier Modular Psu(powered by Seasonic)
Cpu is : 5800X and my aio cooler is artic freezer liquid II 280mm

I even wiped it with eraser but nothing has changed. I captured a few shots even a video with as much as light I can provide, I hope you it will helpful.

I see you Cooler is what is know as a Hard mount no springs to apply tension

How tight did you make the Stand offs and the four screws that connect to them as if more than just snug light finger tight it can cause PCIE problems

Remove the cooler assembled and mounting bracket and and just place the Cold plate on top of cpu only, to see if you can post to bios with GPU in top PCIE slot not booting to windows. It is a bit of a long shot but worth trying to see if the Mounting pressure was causing the problem.

Do you have a way to test GPU in another PC

You can pull the CPU and check for any bent pins

If you have a PC shop near you may be worth having them check the components to fin what one is Faulty

Or stat the RMA on pick component of choice CPU, GPU or Motherboard

I will test my friends RX580 on my pc tomorrow to pinpoit any fault in my motherboard.
Could you explain me what did you mean by that? "Or stat the RMA on pick component of choice CPU, GPU or Motherboard"

If you can not test only option is to return items under warranty till you get the one that is not working and at moment it is one of three items. And not sure what one is not working correctly.

Could it be the software issue, bios setting issue?

Or Is there might be a any cable did not connected to psu or motherboard? If it is, I assume it would give problem on on the botttom socket right? At the moment, my gpu running on the bottom socket.(since 1month(my rig set-up date).

Not likely to be bios but is always a option but I suspect hardware as it is working but not on PCIEx16 and if was software it would post to bios but perhaps not to windows or would boot to win with driver errors

Hello, I tried my top socket with RX580 today and no problem but could not run my zotac 3080 on the top socket.

OK that is progress if you could take your 3080 to friends and test on there PC you will know for sure but looking like your GPU had damage and is not registering at PCIEx16 lanes
