MAG A850GL PCIE5 cables configuration

Hi, I’ve acquired a MAG A850GL PCIe5 to power the MSI PRO B850P-WiFi7 motherboard and a SAPPHIRE PULSE AMD RX 9070 XT. The motherboard requires one 8-pin PCIe connector and the graphics card requires two 8-pin PCIe connectors, but the power supply only comes with two Y-shaped 8-pin PCIe cables.

Is there any way to power it safely? How can I acquire an extra 8-pin PCIe cable? Can I get an adapter for the 12+4-pin cable?

just use the pigtail connector for 9070XT. You don't actually need to connect the PCIe 8 pin power to your motherboard since you're not doing any multi card configuration.

Are you sure? The motherboard manual indicates that I should connect all the power connectors.

Yes, it's same as you don't have to plug in both CPU 8-pin power.
