MAG CORELIQUID A13 360 Fan issues

Hey everyone,

I’m having an issue with my MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 360 AIO cooler, and I’m hoping someone here might be able to help or has experienced something similar.

Problem:​

The fans are extremely loud and I can’t seem to adjust their speed through BIOS or software (I've tried MSI Center, BIOS fan curves, etc.). No matter what I do, they seem to run at full speed all the time, and it’s getting pretty distracting.

What I've Tried:​

  • Checked BIOS for PWM vs DC settings
  • Tried adjusting fan curves (no response)
  • Used MSI Center to control fan speed (no luck)
  • Rechecked fan connections (they seem properly connected to CPU_FAN and/or PUMP_FAN headers)

Specs:​

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor
  • Motherboard: MSI Pro B650-S WiFi
  • OS: Windows 11
  • 32 GB RAM DDR5

Check again, make sure they are on teh correct headers

Set the Fan curve in BIOS

So I take I will need again to open the case to check the correct headers?

as I have not tried the BIOS yet.

If this is the case I will just retrun the whole PC as this is to much effort and should not of been shipped out like this.

I have a Intel® Core™ i9-13900K, Corsair iCue Intelligent RGB x6 LL120 Fan, MSI GeForce® RTX 4090 SUPRIM 24GB

An its not even close to ho loud this system is.

Letting us know you had a Prebuilt and not a build-your-own would have helped to give better advice
