Hi, USB type B on my monitor is not being recognised, i've updated the monitor drivers, chipset and usb drivers and USB type B is still not recognised. I cannot access MSI OSD. Clicking Re-Detect does nothing. I've tried to plug the other end of USB B to all my USB ports and none of them worked even when i try to plug it instead of devices that normally works in that current USB. Is this a common issue? Am i just dumb?

I have it all the way in, it did a click sound when i plug it into the port. Even tried to push it more but it isn't going further.

Funny thing is that the USB ports on monitor works normally... I plugged a USB drive and it recognised and i can interact with it. So the connection is there, but the OSD doesn't want to detect the monitor.

This happened to me.

You need to fully close the OSD app.

Then re download the gaming osd app. Reinstall it. Let the computer restart.

then when it boots, make sure KVM is set back to auto. Or set osd app to default settings.

Sorry for late reply, I kinda forgot about this thread. I closed the app, checked task manager if it's full closed. Downloaded the new OSD. Uninstalled the old OSD. Installed the new one, and i still have this issue :/ How to set OSD to default settings? I'm trying to find some way but unfortunately i cannot find anything. I did a "fresh" install of the OSD so i asume it should be set to default?

When your in the OSD APP. There is a reset button. Like a circular arrow. Which sets each profile back to default. Top right corner.

Also i found out i have Win error code 43... this is probably the issue. I've found some fixes but they don't work. Tried updating windows, unplugging, reinstalling drivers + updating them, restarting PC, default monitor settings, different ports. Nothing works

Well i still cannot even acces the app :/
You mean it won't open?

Ok Uninstall the app again, also make sure the usb is connected correctly and check your device manager make sure there are no errors in the USB devices. Sometimes mine throws a usb error, and i have to disable then re-enable the usb device to get it working again.

Go in to your App Data folder: C:\Users\?????\AppData\Local and delete the MSI folder.

restart then reinstall the New version of OSD app.

Failing that try a different USB port?

But most important. Using the joystick on the monitor go into the menu. under GI. set KVM back to Auto!!!!! or it wont detect the app. I sould have said this first!!
