MAG272QP QD-OLED X50 Firmware Update issue

Hi,

• I just purchased a brand new MSI MAG272QP QD-OLED X50 today and went to update the firmware to the latest (as you do), but immediately encountering an error that isn't listed in the manual:
• 1. I downloaded the firmware utility and 013 firmware files from the following location - https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-272QP-QD-OLED-X50/support#firmware
• 2. Opened the firmware utility and followed all instructions multiple times but I get the attached error every time 'SCALER TYPE NOT EQUAL!' after loading the file and the error comes up immediately upon pressing the 'AUTO' button to commence the firmware upload.
• 3. I triple checked the model's name is definitely MAG272QP QD-OLED X50 on box and sticker on back of monitor
• 4. The monitor is currently running firmware 011 version according to settings menu
• 5. No one else on the internet appears to have experienced this issue that I can find via search.

Help would be appreciated.

Using a different PC allowed the update to go through with the new steps. i have no idea why as i keep my OS stupidly clean -_-

same issue here whats weird is mine seems to think its a 272q not a 272qp
