Main Account Not Working

We have 2 accounts on our computer. One is my main account for the system, the other is my wife's secondary account. For some reason, my main account will not sign on anymore. I need to make some changes and can't, unless I can get it to work. Any suggestions on how to get it to work again? Like I said, I can't add or delete anything without access to my account. Thanks.

Log in to you MS and have them reset your password for your account. if you did it that way or you will have to do a reinstall or try to make wife's account primary
