Mainboard led firmware abnormal. Update MB LED FW

Has anyone else been running into this issue with the MSI boards? I been through 2 boards already and it has been giving me this same issue. I'm ready to throw the dam thing out the window. Apparently I'm not the only one either from what I looked up on Google. Has anyone found a work around for this yet? Or do I have to return the board or get it fixed? It seems this happens every time I tried to daisy chain my cases M/B D-RGB 3 pin daisy chain male header into my MSI MAG 240r female header that is daisy chained and connected to jrainbow 2 port. I'm suspecting that I'm screwing up the LED firmware on the boards by doing this as the msi AIO fan rgb, mobo rgb were lighting up. When I connected them, the case rgb lit up but the AIO and mobo weren't anymore. Shut it off and turned it on and now nothing lights up besides the rgb ram sticks. Tried clear cmos, turn off and on rgb on mobo, unplugging and turning off and on power cord, and making sure the connections are all right. I'm also new to argb and daisy chaining so I would appreciate any input anyone has. I will be getting the phanteks rgb fan hub for the case lights and see if that makes them go on. Updated bios and everything i could think of under the sun. Also will a rgb fan hub be able to turn on all the rgb if its not connected to the mobo anymore? Checked all connections and they seem to be right but took photos so anyone can tell me if I missed something. B550 tomahawk, MSI MAG 240r AIO, AMD Ryzen 3700x, Kingston 3200 2 sticks of ram, Thermaltake 700w psu, case phanteks p360a.

I was also just told by Phanteks that my drgb controller may be defective as well. So Im probably bricking the LED FW on the Mobo by connecting the M/B DRGB cable into the female header of the MSI AIO 240 mag that is connected to the Mobo. Is this Mobo salvageable? Or did I just screw this up again and need to return the board or RMA it?

It's very strange. I updated several weeks ago the MSI Center (and the Firmware also) and Mystic Light feature started to work fine. Few weeks ago, it started not to work immediately when I was turning the PC on but just during the boot (ok it was ok enough). The has been un update on october 28 and now it doesn't work... Well I really don't understand how it can work all this stuff.

LED firmware version on my board, which I purchased a few days ago, was v0007.
However, I accidentally updated to v0006, which is on the support page.
Board model is B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
Do you happen to have the V0007 version of the LED firmware?

You should be able to update to the latest using MSI Centre Live update advanced scan

Well, at least the live update says it's up to date
But I see that it's clearly v0007.
It's probably a pre-installed version on a recently released board.
Hi I have it for you now

i have installed an update of the LED firmware from MSI center more than 1 year ago jan 2023 my mobo is X570 MEG ACE 7C35, but i think it's the cause of problems with the fan curves that not working properly, because from what i read here in this forum the led chip is responsible also of managing fans on the mobo.
The problem is that all the 4 points of the curve are the only values functioning anything between these points not works, it's like if the curve is no more a curve, but only 4 steps of rpm at a certain temperature and nothing else, fortunately this not happens with CPU_FAN header and works like a true curve.
Now i don't know if updating the led fw can resolve the fan curve issue, for this reason i ask for help, i have downloaded the fw for X570 MEG ACE 7C35_v000D but it's also the current version installed, so idk if there are a newer version for this mobo or if the problem are not caused by this firmware.

X570 MEG ACE 7C35_v000D but it's also the current version installed
That is the most current version for your Motherboard

Do you have fans set as AUTO, DC mode or PWM in the bios

DC mode may use stepping instead of a actual curve

I have 1 cpu fan in PWM (2 with splitter) 3 system fans in PWM (1 with splitter and 2 without splitter) 1 PUMP_1 in DC, the fans are all in PWM mode only 1 fan is in DC mode, but all case fans have PCIE 1 as Temperature Source.
I have also problems to click almost all buttons in the hardware monitor menu that requires to click multiple times or to close and reopen HW monitor to click correctly, and some times settings are not saved and i have to redo the last changes, it's a frustrating experience change the fan settings, but this UI bug is not a big problem in my opinion

Also is a problem with the 600 series boards so I do
know how annoying it can be

Try only saving the bios changes using F10
but all case fans have PCIE 1 as Temperature Source.

Try using the system temp as I have noticed the PCIE temp does not record the GPU but the actual slot temp

Using the System temp you will need to set the curve between 20c to 60c

Also dont forget to set Ramp-up and Down delays set the ramp down to 1s and the Up to 0.5s
\
I know when this screenshot was taken the GPU was over 60c as fans were on for it yet it shows only 37c

Hi Alan! Can you help with a similar problem as most in this thread? My motherboard is Z590 PLUS(7D11) and I can't find LED firmware for it. Thank you for your help!

Here you go

Thanks Alan. When I went through that whole process, it said I was already on the 7E47. Still nothing works.
That is the most up-to-date version

What are you using to control RGB
