Hello Everyone,
I bulid my new PC. After install all necessary driver I install MSI Center. In CoreLiqid/Fan Setting I set Balance Mode and not everyting go well. All fan spinning, but on the screen CPU temp stuck at 0 degree. When I try to load the CPU with Cinebench R23 HwMonitor in 100% load show 80 degree on CPU, but the cooler not reacted. All fan spinning the same speed as before. Could
someone help with tha issue? I try to reinstall MSI Center with no result.

Solution

A lot did happen today. I was unable to find a download to reinstall v2.0.21 so I am stuck on v2.0.25 until the new version is available next month. Hope it released soon in November.

Svet,
thank you for taking the time to look into this issue.
Is the temporary workaround for non-MSI MB only?
I have had issues with v.2.0.25 MSI Center but I have a MSI Z790 Tomahawk DDR5 WIFI MB.
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH. Application Name: CC_Engine_x64.exe for example.
Thank you again for your time and expertise on these forums.
It Should work with MSI Boards

You are too kind, thank you.
I am glad to try v.2.0.22, if problems persist, I'll try the patch on v.2.0.25.
The problem I have with v.2.0.25 (in addition to the CC_Engine_x64.exe appcrash) is the GPU fans "freeze" at a certain RPM and a restart is required to "unfreeze" them.

Same problem here. i'm getting blue screen since i'm using my 7950x at 100% (compiling programs).
i have removed the coreliquid S360 and put a cheap thermal solution.

I also suffer from the issue since MSI Center was automatically upgraded from version 2.0.21.0 to 2.0.25.0.
I have MSI motherboard Z790 CARBON WIFI.
MSI Center doesn't show the "Monitoring" page with CPU temperature. Coreliquid doesn't spin up the fans when CPU temperature increases.
Installing version 2.0.22.0 didn't help. Applying ccengine patch didn't help. 🤬
Can anybody please share a link for downloading MSI Center 2.0.21.0? 🙏

About this issue:

The issue was duplicated and will be fixed by MSI with next MSI Center, which is scheduled to be released in November.

As a temporary workaround you can use those steps:
Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1K79dikyOY9w2LIJGZd73rQdBc34hgm0i?usp=sharing

1. Download and unzip “Patch_CC_Engine.zip”
2. Run “go.bat”
3. Restart the system

Okay, this fixed it! You gave us a good scare today: a water cooler that cannot read your CPU temperature is a bad thing.

Noticed something was wrong only after i smelt what seemed like burning from my computer... Even bluescreened when i alt f4'd out of my game with settings at max. This patch worked but why is it not being pushed immediately? Whatever update caused this problem turns the cooler into a deathtrap for cpus on the default MSI center fan settings. Nobody is going to be watching their temps all the time and because it is an update, more people will go on without noticing until it is too late. This needs to be addressed immediately.

I installed v2.0.22 thanks to Svet after I was auto-updated to v2.0.25. V.2.0.22 didn't run perfectly but was the best option. Today I was auto-updated to v.2.0.25 (despite auto-update turned off) by MS Store and MSI Center works perfectly. I am at a loss to explain. MSI Center at start-up indicates there is an update available. I'll pass on the update for now. LOL

Automatically updated to 2.0.26 and everything stopped working again, I turned off automatic updating. They want my computer to burn?
I would stay on V-2.0.22.0 and disable auto update it should prevent the update
