Hello -
I have seen a few people post similar threads but I have not seen a solution and have done quite a bit to attempt to fix this (still no luck) and wanted to share and see if anyone has some thoughts.

ISSUE:
The Dynamic Dashboard OLED display stopped working.  I believe this happened following these steps:
Using Dragon Center to update my drivers as normal, it said there was an update for "LED FW Update - LED_0D OLED_02".  I installed that update and after a reboot Dragon Center says there is a different update called "LED FW Update - LED_0D OLED_0E" so I installed that one, and now dragon center reports the original update is available.  This is a never ending loop - whichever version is installed it reports the update is then available for the other version.  Once I ran the first update, my Display Dashboard OLED screen stopped working completely.

HOW DID I ATTEMPT TO FIX THIS:
- First I checked in Mystic Light that the Display Dashboard was enabled.  It was, so I disabled, rebooted, re-enabled and no luck
- I then checked my BIOS to see if there was a setting I needed to update after the FW update - Nothing in the BIOS I can see that relates to the display dashboard.
- I reset the CMOS, checked Mystic Light to make sure it was enabled - still not working
- I switched to BIOS 2, still not working
- I flashed the bios 2 to the most current version - still not working
- I switched back to Bios 1, re-flashed it with most current bios - still not working.
- I did a complete windows reinstall, reinstalled drivers and then dragon center - still not working.  However, now Dragon Center is reporting that "LED FW Update - LED_0D OLED_02" is available :nooo:

I AM OUT OF IDEAS...
If anyone can help me out or has fixed this on their system please help me out.  I submitted a support ticket and the response I got was "if it isn't effecting system performance you shouldn't worry about it", which to me, is unacceptable.  Would really appreciate any help on this one as the Dynamic dashboard was one of the coolest parts of this board for me.

Thanks!

Hello, I am dealing with the same problem with my msi godlike motherboard. My OLED just stopped working. I don't know whats wrong or how to fix it. I tried everything with MSI Dragon Center, however it is still not working.

Thanks for linking me to that tool!  Amazingly, after I saw that the OLED version was out of date I clicked "UPDATE OLED" and that fixed my issue!  Thank you so much!  For some reason it appears the LED firmware wasn't updating properly via Dragon Center so I will probably avoid using that for LED firmware in the future.

Here is what my window shows. When i click upgrade OLED, it shows the bar move to complete, and exits out... however it is not fixed. When i go back to the launcher it shows nothing has changed. Still can't get the OLED to work.

Try to uninstall dragon center first and then try to use the tools to try again.

Ok so i did it and was able to get my version to change from 0 to 1. However when i tried to do it again it stayed at 1, even if i have dragon uninstalled or installed and spam upgrade OLED And LED button a couple of times. How can i upgrade it to the version of 0E which i think would fix this problem completely.

Try following step:
1.      Uninstall   dragon center
2.      Uninstall mystic light 3
3.      shut down and unplug power cable
4.     wait for 10 mins and boot up
5.      Use LED Update Tool update OLED FW
6.      Check FW version
7.      If FW version is 0E , install DragonCenter

Me and a friend both bought the z390 Godlike boards and after the initial updates his Display Dashboard OLED screen stopped working. We tried everything to get it back including all the steps in this thread to no avail. We even RMA'd his board and MSI just sent him the same board back with the same dead OLED screen. We would rather not take his PC apart again just to send in a motherboard to get the same one back with the same issue but a brand new z390 board under warranty should have been replaced if the OLED screen didn't work. Seeing many people having this issue on various forums and the z490 board having the same issue I am wondering why MSI hasn't been more proactive with this issue and either posted a fix on the forums or fixed it through dragon center updates. Contacting them directly was a waste of time and waste of shipping money. My friend is deaf so I have helped him with the correspondence but I am gutted as it was his first gaming PC so we went all out to get the motherboard with all the fancy LED's just to have his OLED screen not work. If anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated.

We tried everything including the tool but right now the tool says the current version is v.01 and Object version says v.0E. Running the tool doesn't do anything and the version stays the same.
