I finally got my 2100+ working on my kt3 ultra-aru after some troubles, then i was getting a lot of crashing and couldnt stay up for more than a minute! So I was fooling around, acting like I knew what I was doing, and I put the samsung 333 ddr 512 in slot 2 instead of slot 1, now it works better than fine. Should I just leave it and not worry or what? Why is it that slot 2 is so special? :rolleyes:

another question, what is good memory to buy in supplement to my samsung? I just sorta picked this one out of the big memory basket at computers r us

Hi!

For most users 512 MB is (more than) sufficient; you might consider NOT to take the risk. My advice is NOT to add more memory (lots of other cool things you can do with that cash :D )

I understood that you already solved your own problem - there is nothing wrong with using slot 2 if that is the right solution for you ...
