I want to mine on this motherboard, but i cant seem to get it set up to accept 6 GPU's. I enabled the Above 4 Gen Decoding and have the PCI set to Auto. I have also tried Gen 1 and Gen 2, but the best I can get is 2 Gpu's to show in the device manager. Is there something i am missing?

Am running Windows 10.

Can you list detailed system specs 1st, see >>Posting Guide<<

Which GPUs are those?
Do you use risers too?
Is your OS installed in UEFI Mode?
Does each GPU works fine individually?
If you place 4x GPUs in the x16 PCI-E slots, are they detected?
Also check how the PEGSW1 jumpers are configured:

Sorry about that. Specs are:
CPU: i5-6600k 3.5 ghz
Memory: 8 gb ram
storage: Kingston 250 gb SSD
OS: windows 10 pro

Which GPUs are those? 4 - gigabyte RX 6600, 1 - MSI RX6600, 1 - Powercolor RX 6600
Do you use risers too? yes
Is your OS installed in UEFI Mode? i am not sure, how could i check?
Does each GPU works fine individually? yes, they work individually
If you place 4x GPUs in the x16 PCI-E slots, are they detected? this is a tricky one. sometimes it detects all 4 if done this way, but one will show an error code 43 in the device manager
All PEGSW1 switch are all in the on position

i have been able to get 4 of them to work since i posted this message. what is the max number of GPU's this motherboard can handle? i was hoping it could handle all 6 or even 7 since there are a totall of 7 PCIE slots, but i am not sure at this point.

What BIOS version board is using?

On which pci-e slots and are all of them using risers?

Run "system Information", then check "BIOS Mode" from there.
BIOS version: E7968IMS. 1E0

Yes, all using risers. My mistake on previous statement. Currently using all 4 16x slots, no issues.

BIOS mode is Legacy

Okay, and what happens when you try to add +1 GPU in the PCI_E2 slot?

Switch / Migrate to UEFI.
when adding 5th GPU sometimes it doesnt show in device manager, but when it does it always shows error code 43

do i just switch to UEFI in the BIOS?

Okay, and if you place this GPU and replace it with some of the other 4 GPUs that are installed in PCI-Ex16 slots,
does this GPU will start working without issues?

do i just switch to UEFI in the BIOS?
Set 'Boot mode select' to UEFI
Then under "Windows OS Configuration",
Enable "Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support"

And save and exit.
Then you probably need to reinstall OS in UEFI GPT.
Boot from USB key with Win10/11 OS under UEFI Mode to proceed, then reformat the SSD/HDD in GPT.
(if you delete all partitions, then you can simple choose "Drive 0 Unallocated Space", Windows will do create & format all partitions automatically)

Yes, GPU will work in other slots if there are 4 or less. Once you do 5 or more GPUs it starts to show the Error Code 43 or it wont detect a GPPU. So all 4 PCIE x16 slots will work with 4 GPU's in any arrangement and any GPU. the issues begin once you try 5 or more.

I did what you said and changed to UEFI and enabled Windows 8.1/10 and reinstalled windows 10 as clean install and reformatted the SSD, but the problem still persists.

Try leave PCI_E7 slot empty, then see if that with error code 43 will start working.
If its start working, then add another GPU in PCI_E4 or PCI_E6 slots, while keep PCI_E7 empty and see if will works.

i am about to give up on this. nothing seems to work. no matter what order i use the PCI_e slots the 5th GPU always gets Error 43. if i use a 1 to 4 PCI_e adapter it might show a 5th or 6th GPU but still gets Error 43 for which ever GPU is on the adapter. if i don't use slot 2 it won't read slots 1 or 3. i can use slots 1,2,3,4 no problem. i can use 1,2,3,6 no problem, but i can not use 1,2,3,5 or 1,2,3,7. almost seems like it just wont go past 4 GPU's

Can you try to add a different GPU than 6600 when adding the 5th GPU?
Also try disable any devices that is no need from BIOS Setup, like Onboard Audio, RAID and similar.
