Hi. I got the msi a750gl psu off amazon but weirdly it was missing the 6+2 PCIe cables (seemed to have too many sata cables instead…). I contacted Amazon/msi and options seem to be:
1. Return entire psu for replacement
2. Amazon will refund 11 quid to get my own cables
3. Wait to see what msi come back with
Any thoughts/suggestions? I have installed the psu on a new system (my first build with help from a friend), albeit running on igpu untill I can get the cables sorted… I.e. preference would be to not have to diss assemble/send back to amazon if I can avoid it but from a search online getting spare cables can be risky if they aren’t specifically compatible with the psu?
