Two questions if I may

Question 1:
----------------------------------------
Besides Dragon centre not working with live updates "can not find update in server"

In the home screen (Dragon Centre 2.0.69.0) seems to be missing options
I can only see
1. Gaming Mode
2. User Scenario
3. General Settings
4. Monitor
5. Ambient Link

Can't see True Colour or LAN Manager.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 2:

In "General settings", I can't find anywhere what the following do
(looked for current dragon centre manual but they all seem not to show what these do)

Windows key on or off - ok this is easy just disables the windows key
Display overdrive - zero idea what this does
"Switch Key" fn window or window fn ??? what does this do ?
Crosshair display displays an artificially generated cross hair on some games perhaps??

Thanks everryone.
This is my first MSI product, laptop is only 4 days old but mega disappointed dragon centre live updates don't work despite numerous attempts and reinstalled.

Can you find your product page on MSI website?
Try to reinstall the offline package on MSI website.
"Display overdrive":
"Switch key": switch fn with Winkey
"Crosshair": When you enable the crosshair, go to true color for advanced settings.

Hello Crazy Donkey.
I'm afraid I'm waaay ahead of you re dragon centre. Doing the offline installer was my first attempt before I went to any forum, uninstall, reinstall still not working and worse live updates don't work it can't find the server. I have another thread on that one.

Looks like no one know what display overrdrive does lol nothing MSI docs anywhere
Also as you know from my post I have no "true colour" setting anywhere, both it and LAN Manager are not settings that are even present in Dragon centre (latest edition)

:(

This is what my home screen looks like, you can only see these as I wrote above

Additionally if you even try to click on the red < to minimise and then > to display the menu you get these errors

Remove Dragon centre in add/remove programs and uninstall MSI.SDK and install it fully fresh to see if it resolves it using the MSI Dragon Center (Offline Package)

Sorry already tried that. It was the next thing I did originally before posting in the forum. No change.

1. Removed Dragon then SDK then reinstall, then restart - no change same errors
2. removed SDK then dragon then reinstall, then restart - no change

All errors as shown above still there, still no True Colour no LAN Manager and no server found for updates. :(

Have you tried to update to the latest 75 version?
remember to reboot the system after reinstall the app.
If the problem persists, I suggest you export your system information and report the issue to MSI.
The menu error message seems to be an known issue, I'm still waiting for MSI to fix the issue.

Hello CrazyDonkey
1. There is no other version for Dragon Centre on the website bar 2.0.69.0 (see pic below) under utilities for my model laptop.
2. I always do a full reboot so way ahead of you there :) If you read what I wrote you would have seen I did a restart. Maybe you missed that?
3. Already contacted MSI before joining the forum and even posting here. They have not been helpful so far. They keep asking for the same info as if it is being passed around and around. They obviously did not even read my original request because they just asked me to download new version and install I already told them I did. It is frustrating when they do not read the messages properly.
4. Well that's not the biggest problem the menu, the biggest issue is where is true Colour, Where is LAN Manager and Live updates are not functional right out of the box with the software installed by them in a now 7 day old laptop :( again I never thought I'd have to contact customer support for a brand new product not even a week old.

Cheers CrazyDonkey.

Could you share your system info?
MSI have the file info already.

Version 75 dragon centre now available. I downloaded it and installed.
No change
- True colour missing
- Lan Manager missing
- Live updates still fail

The ONLY fix is when you press < and > to minimise the menu there are no errors.
Laptop is now 7 days old.

update:
MSI informed me that True Colour is not available with GL75 which took me by surprise but there you have it.
Lan Manager however should be visible and they are working with me to try to solve that problem.
As for the update problem they have passed on the information to the relevant area. Hopefully perhaps next update it might be working, I don't know.
I've expressed my disappointment that a factory installed laptop has software that is not functioning correctly.
