I have a question and hopefully get an expert opinion.

Why is my motherboard's heatsink is touching the fan of my liquid cooler?
Tech tried to install it but I'm not comfortable that the fan is on the heatsink.

Here is the parts:
MSI B760m
MSI Coreliquid A13 240
MSI Forge M100R case

Hoping to find an answer or solution.

Kind regards

I do not have a picture but the fan is touching the heatsink.

For now, what I did is to move the radiator so it clears the heatsink. Problem is, Only one side of the radiator is screwed (all four of them). I checked and i think i holds and stable.. I know it is not recommended, but it is the only way I can install it. Thinking of adding a support or bracket on the other side just to make sure.

Here is the photo of what I did now. The Blue circle is where the screw should be.

I mean it seems the chassis, board, cooler is not compatible as a whole. motherboard heatsink is too high so cooler won't fit it. You could say the chassis is not "deep" enough either.
Better just get a larger chassis but err, it's gonna be a huge work.

I will try to replace it with a thinner fan. maybe this will solve my clearance issue.🤞
