Hi guys! Because of new cpu microcode for ryzen 3000 processors is out (for cpuid 00870f10) and for cpuid 00810F11 too, I've "updated" the latest BIOS 7C37v17.

Changes:
  • OROM AMD RAIDXpert2-Fxx from 8.1.0-00046 to 8.1.0-00064
  • EFI AMD GOP Driver from 2.7.0.0.0_signed to 2.9.0.0.0_signed
  • EFI Realtek UNDI Driver from 2.042 to 2.052
  • OROM Realtek Boot Agent GE from 2.66 to 2.67
  • CPU Microcode 00810F11 from ver08101102 (2018-11-06) to ver08101103 (2019-04-17)
  • CPU Microcode 00870F10 from ver08701013 (2019-06-11) to ver08701021 (2020-01-25)

That's all I've changed. There are no modifications to overclocking or something else. It's stock BIOS with updated microcodes and drivers.

Installation:
I've just installed this BIOS with M-Flash and it goes fine for me.

!!!USE THIS BIOS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Download: E7C37AMS.170

PS: I have ryzen 3900 (not x, just 3900) and it comes with strange temperature control. I have watercooling system ID-COOLING FROSTFLOW X 240 and the only thing to get it work silent is to make fans to rotate at 40% till 60?C then 75% in 70?C and 100% in 75?C. I don't know which temperature data is used for fan control in BIOS. Maybe new BIOS from MSI will fix this issue with fan control for ryzen 9 3900.

So... I have a question about that specific file name. When I bought my PC, it came with a broken mainboard. So I had to send the PC back. They switched the mainboard to another of type »MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI X570«. This came with a BIOS version exactly like that (E7C37AMS.170). So my question is: Is there an official BIOS version for that mainboard with that specific number? On the website and in the support section I found none that would match with this file/version. But now finding this posting here, I guess, someone messed with the board before I even got it, right?

Would depend on Manufacture date of the BOard they tend to get sent out with most up to date bios and not just the first one that was released

That's what's so funky about it:

17's date was after this 170 thingy (9th Jan 2020, if I read this correctly).
Build date is just when the actual BIOS was built.....Add a few days for 'testing' and such, and the release date makes sense.
Gotta take into account testing, etc....so it doesn't surprise me that it would be released on the website a few days after it was built.

Oh, so it's not the build date, that is written on the website? Confusing... I just hope, that my actual problems can be solved, but that's another story altogether. Thanks for the clarifications. =)
