No actually. I have not contacted anyone. MSI either. I came on this forum assuming it was a motherboard issue.

I have b450m mortar max with the same issue too. I found out, that if I turn off computer after heavy load or after benchmark (i used Jam Software HeavyLoad), computer turns off and turns on correctly without any debug light, but if I turn off after light use (watching media), the computer even wont turn off - the cpu debug light comes on. The mobo was sent into warranty service, after that it worked normally only for week before the same issue back. The best way to fix that issue is to throw that board into trash. I put all my computer components into lower tier cheaper b450m board from another manufacturer and everything works flawlessly. From MSI you can only buy products that aren't made by MSI, like the A-GF psu - amazing product. That's the sad true, because there are a lot of people in the internet complaining with the same cpu ez debug light problem of b450m mortar max board. Maybe it is hardware issue with the b450 boards...

My thought exactly. The MSI board is at fault. Could be just a minor issue that could be solved with a BIOS update. I don't know. Early next month I will get myself a new b450 board and I'm positive that my system will be up and running again. Never had such an issue before, not from ASUS boards or AMD cpus.
I keep checking the support site for a BIOS update.

I had the same issue with one year of use.. and sincerely I dont know, I really like this mobo

The pc is in repair and I will take it tomorrow, I tested my cpu Ryzen 3600 in another mobo and it looked okay
If it won't repair I will (unfortunately) buy another probably a steel legend one

Hello All.
Finally I have an update. I sent the Ryzen 5 3600 and MSI b450m mortar max back to the PC shop where they tested the Ryzen with three different MSI boards and found the same problem: not booting after shutdown for the night. They also tested the CPU in several other ways with no issues identified.
They eventually switched me to an ASUS b450m TUF Gaming pro ii and everything is working perfectly now for about two weeks.

Still don't know what the real problem was.
Good luck to you guys.

Sorry for blaming Msi. I found that the problem is with Lotes cpu slot. I returned my faulty board (with Lotes cpu slot) and i bought used one from private seller. That was interesting for me, because previous owner said, that board works completely fine. The first thing i noticed, that the cpu slot on the new (actually used) board made by Foxconn (i think it is newer revision of board or sth). I tried the board in various situations, everything is ok. I think latest Am4 Msi boards uses Foxconn socket (bought A520M VECTOR WIFI and it is with Foxconn cpu slot) Now, this B450M Mortar Max board is actually really very good, when working properly with Foxconn cpu socket.

OK but doesn't that mean that there is an issue with MSI quality control? Shouldn't they replace all those motherboards ?
Also I see a new BIOS update. Could that fix the issue?
Been with no PC all this time. I might as well go get a new mobo. What can MSI do for this?
