Hello,
I just bought the MAG Coreliquid 240R to replace my old Kraken (pump KO) and I'm ready to install it on my Z490 Vision G motherboard.
The latter does not have a "PUMP-FAN" port ; I read on various forums that you could connect the pump to CPU_FAN and the fans to OPT_FAN or SYS_FAN.
Before making a mistake, thank you for your advice and your knowledge.
Thank's a lot.
Pierre
NB: sorry, for my bad english, i'm french :)

the total Power draw of that whole unit with the pump and the 2 fans is 0.64A and normal CPU_FAN headers are driven by a 2A driver so even if you connected all to just the CPU_FAN it would be fine so connect it up in a way that makes sense to you as its well below even a regular SYS_FAN header as they are rated at 1A

Pump = 0.34A
each fan = 0.15A (2 total so 0.30A for both)

Thank you for your reply.
So I connected the pump to "CPU_FAN" and the fans to "OPT_FAN", the "SYS_FAN" port is no longer available on my machine. Do you validate? :)
thank you again for your help

The installation manual of the Coreliquid MAG being extremely rudimentary, I connected the pump on "CPU-FAN", mode full speed and voltage in BIOS, and the fans on "CPU_OPT" in normal mode.

And it seems to be working fine for the moment.

Thanks very much for your help
