Motherboard Monitor settings for MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R

I'm new to motherboard monitor and there are no predefined settings available for the MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R.

Anyone help me with the appropriate settings to monitor temps and fans?

The last time I installed this there were two predefined settings for this board. One of them didn't work right but the other did. Just make sure that while you are installing the latest version you enable the download of the latest profiles.

For my Master2 I had to just try settings until I found ones that yielded results that
were close to what the BIOS reported. Only really takes a couple minutes.

Follow steps 1-3 in the MBM help file in setting it up manually. Once you have settings
you are confident in, use the reporting feature to send your settings to the makers of MBM
so that others can use your settings.

JLP,

I've looked and looked - in the online configuration settings I don't see any configs for the Neo-FIS2R. I did the config wizard and downloaded the latest defs. Where did you see them?

Lunchbox,

Yeah I can do that - but I'm not confident of the settings or readings. For example - the CPU temp Is only sort of correct if I set it to sensor Winbond 2 2N3904. But after displaying what I believe is correct for a few seconds it changes to something ridiculous like 7C. I've tried all the other board sensors listed and they either say my CPU temp is 118C or 7C. System temp seems to work, but again I'm not sure. Hence my post here.

It is also odd that CoreCenter and MBM disagree about a few things. Like the +12.00 rail Corecenter says 12.00v and MBM says 12.22V. Or Fan 1 that is easly 2X what corecenter says.

And if you run CoreCenter WHILE running MBM all kinds of wierdness happens - like CPU temp fluctutating wildly or CPU fan speed synchronizing and then not.

Plus clock speed is a consistent 2001 with CC and 1998 with MBM.

So I want someone who knows what they are doing to do the configs - clearly that's not me.

Sensor 1 (CPU) set to Winbond 1.
Sensor 2 (Case) set to Winbond 2 Diode.

Fan 1 (CPU) set to W83697HF-1.

I don't have a third wire on either of my Panaflos and I think that's why I can't monitor their speeds in MBM.

I'm pretty sure these are backwards:

Sensor 1 (CPU) set to Winbond 1.
Sensor 2 (Case) set to Winbond 2 Diode.

Because if I load CC the measurements are the same as Sensor 1 as Case and and Sensor 2 as CPU.

And what do you have set for voltages? I believe it should be W83697HF Standard 1.

Whoops, you're right. Reverse the two.

And you're right on the voltages as well.

just tried setting up MBM using the version that was released today. I messed around with viewing different temp sensors, unfortunately none match the CPU temp displayed in either the BIOS or core center. 2 sensors show temps that are somewhat right for the case and the cpu, but the higher of the 2 is about 4 degrees C below what CC reads.

also, cpu speed is not updated when cool n quiet throttles down. that kinda blows, and is the main reason I think I'll have to stick with CC over MBM.
