Mouse and Keyboard not working on first startup

I recently got the MSI ATX Motherboard Z97 Gaming 5 and noticed that on first start-up my mouse and keyboard just don't work. When it's booting it just doesn't enable USB I suppose (my mouse and keyboard are both USB). But when I press reset so my pc restarts it does work. So the first time it doesn't work and on restart it does. I also have fast boot enabled which I find very convenient so I would like to keep it on.

How can I fix this?

Well you have FastBoot enabled and that is why. If you read description, FaztBoot didables USB and some other things to speed up boot up. So either Install Fastboot in your OS which will let you access BIOS or disable the feature. One more thing: I cant remember the name but in BIOS theres a feature that if you hold Power button for 4 sec upon bootup it will go to BIOS

Look I understand that USB is disabled DURING startup. But for me it's disabled even after booting. So I log in and I can't move my mouse or type anything at all. So I have to restart my pc. So I am starting my pc twice fast instead of once slow that doesn't make sense I don't think this is what's intended.

My keyboard is the G19 from Logitech and mouse is G9x Laser also from Logitech. Like I said earlier my motherboard it the MSI ATX Motherboard Z97 Gaming 5.

tell what bios version you are using, we know what board are using

look for bios version in bios setup

DX reports are useless

oki, you can update your bios to the latest version 1.8:
http://www.msi.com/support/mb/Z97-GAMING-5.html#down-bios

which probably will solve the issue
