I had to return the mouse because it will never update whatever I try to do. It seems there were a batch of mice that have the firmware stuck at a certain version. I bought another one from another reseller which had a newer firmware, and I was able to update successfully without any issues.

Hi - had the same issue - try doing Live Scan (Advanced) and update the firmware there. Mouse is now recognised in ML in both wired and wireless settings

Hello, I just bought the same GM 41 wireless mouse and I have the same problem with both MSI Center and Dragon Center that cause the firmware update to go into a loop. What can I do?
I tried both with cable and without cable on the mouse, but nothing .. It tells me that the update has been done, but every time I come back it tells me to do it again!
Firewall and antivirus have been disabled!
