Hi all,
Posting a firmware feature request for the MPG 491CQPX QD-OLED.
Currently, to enable PBP mode you have to manually navigate into the OSD and disable both DSC and Adaptive-Sync first - the monitor won't let you activate PBP without doing this. The problem is it doesn't do it automatically.
On other monitors (some Dell, LG etc.) enabling PBP automatically handles the incompatible settings for you, since DSC and VRR can't run in PBP anyway - so the monitor just turns them off as part of the mode switch and restores them when you exit PBP.
The requested change: when PBP is enabled via OSD or Navi Key shortcut, the firmware should automatically set Adaptive-Sync → OFF and DSC → OFF, and restore previous values on PBP exit.
This is a pure OSD logic change with no hardware impact. Given the 491CQPX is heavily used for dual-input productivity setups alongside gaming, this would be a meaningful QoL improvement for anyone who switches between single and dual input regularly.
Cheers
