I have a new to me MPG b550 gaming Plus. And I have tried firmware updates to led controller, reset bios, reinstalled a clean copy of Windows... And I cannot get rid of signalrgb on mystic light. It only gives me an option to follow a URL to download it. A few times I see the other options when I first open mystic light but it the quickly switches to signal. I need help getting rid of it.
Any help is appreciated
Thank you

Do you have signalRGB installed at the same time? Can you just remove it or delete Mystic light from feature set knowing they both control RGB device and likely conflict with each other.

No It is a fresh install of windows. I gave up with the old copy of windows i had and just wiped the drive and installed fresh. I had Signal RGB installed once on the old copy of windows a few years ago when i was testing out different LED software but i haven't touched Signal since i wiped the drive.

If you don't have signalRGB installed, then it sounds just like a UI misunderstanding.
The switch is meant for turning RGB on and off, when it's at right side (on), it means RGB will light up instead of giving the control to signalRGB.
When signalRGB is taking control, if you go into mystic light control page, it should grey out.
Are you able to control RGB via mystic light now?

My ui doesn't have all that. I'm missing Game sync, and ambient link.
But, sometimes when I first boot into mystic light for a split second i can see the options before it immediately changes and leaves only the profiles and Mystic Light settings with the SignalRGB logo and a URL button.
I can control The led's via the profile page without any issue but im trying to get Ambient Link to work and i cant with the broken UI

I went and used Gemini to see if i can find a solution and its telling me that SignalRGB has essentially hard coded itself into the LED controller firmware on the board and i should reinstall fresh firmware for the LED controller. However i cannot find any info on if this is correct or not. And i cannot figure out how to reinstall the firmware. I did update to the latest Bio's and it did not fix my issue. SignalRGB is still there. So even with a fresh copy of windows and a clean install of a new bios Signal is still there screwing with me.

not sure what you mean screwing you but the icon is there for the purpose of showing you the URL to download signalRGB.
If signalRGB is not installed on your PC, it will certainly not do anything.

The thing is I do not want to use SignalRGB. I don't like their software. I even went into the registry and tried to turn off SignalRGB in Mystic Centers reg. and it never goes away.

i'm so lost here, if you don't have signalRGB installed, then it won't do anything. It has nothing to do with Mystic Light.

I'm lost as well, Every so often I can open mystic light and i can see the other options for a second before it switches to the URL link for SignalRGB. It's not in Windows because i wiped the drive completely and deleted the partitions before reinstalling a fresh copy of windows. I can go into the windows registry editor and tell it to turn off Signal stuff in Mystic light's registry and it just turns right back on. I cant get rid of it to let any other program integrate into Mystic Light. I can even go into the registry and toggle on Razer Chroma but it doesn't stick even if i lock the settings down. Im so lost. Signal has to be one of the worst malware type of program to screw with a system this much.

So i just ran Clean Center Master. And the pc went thru and restarted but i couldn't reinstall MSI Center so out of frustration i made a Win 11 Pro Atlas OS install Usb and wiped the system completely. Deleted all Partitions and information on the drive with 0's. I reformatted the drive and installed Atlas OS. I saw the other options so i could have other programs control mystic light for all of a second before SignalRGB just reintroduced itself into the program. It's not on my drive! The only place it could be coming from is the RGB Firmware on the board. It's the only thing left i can think of. but i can't figure out how to reinstall fresh Firmware to the Board

So after some back and forth with MSI (Unhelpful), I have determined its written itself into the LED controller Firmware on the motherboard itself. And MSI will not let me wipe and install fresh firmware to the motherboard. Right to repair needs to be law nationwide. At this point im just planning on removing the chip from the board and buying a donor board and replacing it. Unless anyone has any other ideas?
