Hello everyone,

I just received my CORELIQUID P13 and assembled it. It made a lot of gurgling noise at first, then it normalized, and now it's very quiet.

However, I'm having an issue with MSI Center and the LCD display. The changes I request to the display simply don't apply on the fly; I have to restart the PC for them to take effect, which is absurd and clearly not normal behavior. I can't play a YouTube video, and in the "Hardware Monitor" settings, it offers me everything EXCEPT the CPU specifications, which are precisely the ones I wanted to display (I only have GPU (Temp, Freq & Usage), Memory (Usage), and More (Framerate)).

The AIO block is properly connected everywhere (CPU_FAN, AIO_PUMP, ARGB, and USB to an appropriate port on the motherboard), the informations it collects are accurate (date, GPU or memory specifications, etc.), the requested settings are indeed modified at the next startup, but it should be possible to do this on the fly, and above all, why don't I have the CPU data?!?

Ah, and I also now have a permanent window in my Windows applications, which shows the LCD screen display, and which I don't have much to do with, since I ALREADY have this display on the AIO block oO And besides, in any case, we can't access it if we click on it... I also specify that the changes I request in MSI Center do not apply in this window either.

I uninstalled/reinstalled MSI Center, it's up to date, the AIO block is correctly detected, etc. I don't understand what's going on. Please help me, thanks a lot by advance.

Setup (just in case) : ASUS RROG STRIX B860+F Gaming Wifi, Intel Core Ultra i7 265K, 64GB RAM G.Skill Trident Z5, Samsung 990 Pro and 990 EVO Plus m.2 SSDs, MSI 5070Ti Gaming Trio OC, AsRock Steel Legend SL-850GW 850W. I also have dual monitor.

Weird, the changes should be applied on the fly...
Could you use MSI Collect Log tool to generate log file and share it here?
https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/nb/MSI-Collect-Log-Tool.zip

As for the gurgling sound when the fan starts, it is quite normal and you should not be worried about it.
Since you have a ASUS motherboard, it is normal that Hardware Monitoring does not show any CPU related information.
I also hope the display windows in the background (alt+tab) can be closed in the future firmware update (?)

No, the fact that you can’t choose whichever motherboard you want to display the information you want (we’re talking about data, like CPU temperature — not some ASUS-exclusive feature...) is not "normal", it’s just annoying. My Aida, although supplied by ASUS, has access to the temperature of my GPU... which is an MSI product...

The gurgling noises eventually disappeared after I tilted and moved the case around in every direction. My previous BeQuiet AIO didn’t need any of that.

And so far, nothing’s really better with MSI Center. The changes still don’t apply on the fly — the only way is to reboot the computer or, more ‘simply’ (notice the quotes…), go into Windows display settings, rearrange the screens, and click ‘Apply’. Really ergonomic...

And I’m not even talking about the fact that displaying a simple image is still not supported, and since I can’t show CPU temperature because I don’t have an MSI motherboard, I have to set up the AIO as a third screen and assign it a specific wallpaper .

As for the window that pops up with ALT+TAB, sure, you can close it manually… every single time it comes back… omg…

In short, this AIO looks nice and is relatively quiet, but it really gives off the feeling of being unfinished and poorly supported by its software — it’s a real disappointment.

As for the log, what exactly do you want? The app generates a whole archive, with a file named ToolLog.txt inside; is that it? It contains a lot of informations, including some rather intrusive stuff that I honestly don’t see how it could help troubleshoot a system this simple — and one that works perfectly fine with other brands…

MSI Center isn’t a generic hardware monitor like HWiNFO64 or AIDA64, it’s a vendor-specific control suite.
It communicates directly with MSI’s own firmware (BIOS/EC) and chipset-specific sensors through proprietary APIs.
If you have an MSI GPU, MSI Center can still read GPU temps, control fans, and RGB.
Generic functions like Mystic Light for peripherals (e.g. keyboards and mice) should still work.
Since you have an ASUS motherboard, anything tied to motherboard sensors or BIOS control will not be supported in MSI Center.

Sounds like a hardware conflict

MSI or ASUS may need to adjust their Firmware or BIOS for it to be fully functional.

And getting snappy at people who are trying to assist is not needed

I didn't mean to be snappy with people trying to help me, I'm sorry if it was interpreted as such. I'm just annoyed that something as "basic" as an AIO block causes these kinds of problems. We're not talking about a very touchy element, like RAM or CPU. We're talking about a pump, a radiator and a small external screen controlled by an external application. An external application that doesn't do what you ask it to do (change a display on the fly), that displays features that it can ONLY display if you have the right brand of hardware (which is mentionned nowhere), that doesn't include extremely basic functions (display a simple image) and that struggles to fulfill the contract with those it does offer (display a video)... In short, all this gives the impression of a product finished in a hurry, and that's what I'm annoyed with, not at all with the people looking for solutions to MSI's shortcomings. Sorry again for that.

Hey, buddy, I'm having the exact same problem with this AIO. It's not a hardware conflict, don't listen to them! Everything inside my PC is MSI, especially the motherboard: B650 CARBON WIFI. Here's my comment to MSI support: "Coreliquid shows up in MSI Center. I triple-checked all the manuals and cable connections before and after installation. When I try to change the AIO display settings through MSI Center, it takes about 20-30 minutes or doesn't happen until I reboot the computer. Also, as I mentioned, when I launch a game, the AIO display switches to a static image of one of my desktop themes, which I've never applied, and the game window starts minimizing every three seconds. I also connected the cooler to another USB port on the motherboard and tested it - same story."
Did you find any solution?

In one way, it's nice to see I'm not crazy; on the other, it means there are real problems with this poorly finished AIO.

I just tried waiting about thirty minutes like you, and the change does indeed apply. Why? How? Why do I have to wait so long? I don't know. On the other hand, I'm not having any problems playing games, and I haven't had the minimizing window you described so far.

For now, the only "quick" (always notice the quotes...) solution I've been able to find to apply the changes, as I said, is to go to Windows' display settings, and every time I want to apply a new AIO display, I move the small display screen to one side or the other of my main monitor and click "apply." Not practical at all, but at least we don't have to reboot.

Afterwards, since I can't access the CPU temperature information, and the clocks display this totally stupid and useless additional window in the Windows ALT+TAB, I configured the AIO display to display an extension of the desktop, and I set a specific wallpaper. This compensates, for the moment, for the fact that MSI Center is totally buggy and does not offer the display of a simple static image.

Thank you very much for your reply and for outlining some of your suggestions. Let's talk to MSI support and see how they can fix this. In any case, I'll keep you updated.

Maybe software then
The most likely culprits are Montering Software or other RGB software that conflict with MSI Centre.
It's not the greatest software to use and tends to be buggy sometimes.
Disable any monitoring or RGB software from Windows startup
and see if that helps.

I also have just received my new CORELIQUID P13 and assembled it on my all MSI rig. It started off fine - displaying what i chose to display. When I went to start a game - tried on different games with same results - the window kept closing after about 3 seconds of loading the game. Eventually the P13 display stopped displaying all together and despite numerous attempts including uninstalling MSI Centre and freshly downloading and installing a new copy, the display simply will not turn on. Also the AIO display is registering as a USB Monitor and when it was working, acted as a second monitor which I was unable to resolve. Any assistance with these issues would be greatfully accepted. Many Thanks in advance.

So, I've had this cooler for a month or so. I've had all the problems talked about. It's showing up as a monitor in windows settings/device manager. that's really the bother for me. It won't allow exclusive Fullscreen for gaming. I looked around for a week or two and nothing then one day I found this.
. Msi knows it's going to show as a second monitor in the windows setting because of the USB connection. In Device Manager it also shows as USB connection, Generic monitor (Generic Monitor, which my Lg 45GX950A-B also uses for PNP) and a Display Adapter (AICdisplayadapter) Where my rtx 5090 shows as well and now shows two graphics adapters. I've had the Hardware telemetry that should be on the LCD screen show up on my main monitor before and had to shutdown from my tower because I couldn't get the screen to return to normal. I've doubled and tripled checked that I did not have the extended monitor set in the MSI Center app. I had it set to the hardware telemetry. It shows at extended no matter what in windows 11. Currently have it still in my system with all the drivers blocked (LCD not on). Filled out a ticket and was told it may be faulty to RMA it. But after seeing this. Unfortunately, good news to see I'm not the only one. Current Setup- MSI MPG Coreliquid P13, MSI MPG x870e Carbon Wifi, MSI RTX 5090 32GB Gaming Trio OC, Ryzen 7 9800x3d.

Mate, you should press alt & tab and then close the window of your coureliquid screen then it will work,,, It`s not solving the problem whole but just part of it

Hello, I bought the liquid cooler today and installed it and I am very happy with it. I haven't experienced any problems. The cooling is very good. There is something that annoys me. No matter what game I play, the temperature indicators change to the other monitor and this is annoying me. I want it to always show the temperature. Is there a solution or should I return it?

I got a issue were the MSI Coreliquid_P app is running and wont let my monitor turn off when sitting idle. If i end the app it just restarts, but if I uninstall the Coreliquid feature from MSI Center my monitor will turn off when idle. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled and same thing. Anyone else have this issue?

Question, do you have intergrated graphics disabled in the bios? I was having the same issues you described and had disabled my intergrated graphics in the bios. After enabling it back, ive had no issues and the P13 seems to be working as intended. I can only assume with it turned off, some sort of conflict/issue with the p13 lcd and the dedicated gpu was happening, especially during gaming, My current specs. AMD 9950x3d, msi carbon wifi board, msi 5090, 64gb ram

Thanks a lot ! Hope they will fix that very soon.
