mpg infinite x2 13f bios update to Microcode 0x12f or better

Hi there,

i got a mpg infinite x2 13f /I7 13700KF, GF RTX 4070TI) and some games give me the warning, that my bios is out of date
my actuall bios version: EB904IMS.8D0 (10/24/2024)
motherboard: MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI (MS-7D25)

will there be an update of the bios or what should i do?

What it looks like is World of Warcraft isn't necessarily detecting your bios as out of date but the microcode installed within the bios. It is the microcode that is out of date, looking at the date of the bios. You are probably running microcode 0x129, when the latest microcode is 0x12f. Looking at your pc support page, you are on the latest bios they provide you with. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do unless MSI produce an updated bios for your pc. There is WinRaid forum, they have many people that are familiar with assembled code, which is what the bios is written in. Someone on that forum might be able to input the latest microcode module into your bios. Then you wouldn't get that warning. Aside from that all you can do is put up with those annoying pop-ups whenever you play WoW. You could try opening a support ticket with MSI, and see what kind of response they might provide in assisting you with this.

Ok it's a prebuilt and not a motherboard (retail) product.
I suggest, like user above, to open a request with MSI.
