Hello, if I am not mistaken both the intake and exhaust have mesh on them, should I perhaps take off the mesh on the exhaust as it seems to counteract the very thing the mesh is trying to avoid? And keep the mesh on the intake instead.

Please let me know, I would also be grateful for any other useful tweaks / accessories I can buy that would boost airflow and prevent dust buildup as much as possible.

I am suggest cleaning all dust on vent every month.
