Im going around in circles trying to find this product. Im building an all MSI gaming pc, my case ( prospect 700r) comes with a vertical bracket for my 4090, but you have to buy the riser cable separately. The MSI one i want is available ( named in title of thread) in the good old US of A, searching and asking i finally tracked it down at the MSI USA store, after signing up and going through the process of ordering i find they only deliver within the US. It seems making them an offer they can’t refuse doesn’t work anymore so is there any man/woman alive that can help me find an MPG PCIe 4.0 x16 GPU riser cable. Failing that has anybody used another suitable brand preferably that does not require an adaption to fit the vertical bracket provided. Thanks, Steven.

Hi everyone,

Sorry to revive an old thread but we need to clarify the bundled riser cable topic to avoid any future misunderstandings.

PCIe riser cable was only bundled with a very limited number of Prospect 700R units at the product launch due to being unavailable at any purchase location.

Post-launch, riser cable is being offered as an additional accessory which needs to be purchased separately.

Kind regards

Hey C,
I got that too but haven’t had time to post it. That is very good news and well played by MSI. I have to wait my pre-order delivery then give them the SN and invoice numbers etc… I emailed them saying people were wasting money on 3rd parties that didn’t fit the bracket provided. Result! Can you post a picture of it when it arrives as i think I’m still a long way from mine being delivered, it still says pre-order on the site.

Hey Templar,
Here's a picture as promised, the riser arrived today, they also sent a msi emblem key ring, velcro strap and a 120mm argb fan. The installation was easy, and its running cooler in vertical.

Thanks darkhawk, what's the splitter you're using? incase i need it in the future , as the nzxt was a flop.
I'm going to be honest, I'm not sure.
But after checking my case and looking at it quick....
That's exactly what I got. Nice little thing to help with USB 2.0 ports, if needed.

Thanks darkhawk, need to see if i can find one of those in the UK

That's awesome mate, imo the Suprim X version of the 4090 is the best, i've tried the KFA2 SG & Aorus Master, the KFA2 i had would clock to 3000mhz but any addition on the memory and it would crash, the Aorus Master would go up to +1000mhz on the memory but if pushed to 3000mhz core it would crash in game after a few minutes. Suprim X clocks in at 3030mhz it can go higher but i haven't pushed it , and i've got the mem at +1500mhz sitting at 12001mhz stable (again there's room for it to go higher) in every benchmark and game, also there's absolutely no coil whine, while i get not everyone wants to OC their cards i think it shows the quality of the Suprim X is very good as alot of the YT benchmarks i checked out were hitting high clocks easily, not to mention the temps are incredibly low even with the OC.

Excellent, good job and gives me an idea of what i can expect when it’s up and running. Im having problems with OcUK, its been on ordered status for 3 weeks with no answers except for me stating that they took payment immediately but haven’t clued me up on ETA or any other status. They replied “ we will try to do better” i get the impression that was because it was on a review site and would be viewed by people 1 week later still nothing. I have noticed it is not listed anymore on their site not even pre-order so I’m now concerned that i will not receive it but why don’t they tell me there’s a problem. Ive opened another web ticket with my concerns but so far no answer. I wish i had gone with your firm as i see they are in stock and free delivery.

Mate that's way too long, have you got a ticket open with them? if not get a ticket opened, phone them etc - if there's still not ETA get refund, under distance selling rules and consumer rights, you get 14 days to return anything from the point you received it , as you haven't received it you can cancel with them for a refund and reorder from AWD-IT. As a last resort and i doubt it will come to this as OCUK are a very reputable company and should sort out the issue via ticket or phone with either a refund or the case, call your bank or whichever card facility you used to make the purchase and do a charge back on the basis of item not received , again that's a nuclear option if you can't get through to anyone.

Thanks, i just got reply saying its out of stock with no known resupply ETA would i like a refund. So I’m now looking at it on AWD-IT. Ill get back to you When I’ve got confirmed order.

OcUK took 1 month to tell me they don’t know if or when stock of case will arrive, then over a week to refund. I went to AWD-IT like you suggested and they delivered in a few days with full and regular updates. Ive contacted Ender from tech support UK and he’s sending me the riser so I’m back on track with my build. I must clear the credit I’ve got b4 I buy the suprim x two weeks should be done, then I’m getting my computer guy to help me build it. Thanks to ever1 here who contributed and advised me, without you and MSIUK I wouldn’t have become the gaming legend I’m gonna be.

Bro that's real good news, glad you're on track to getting it all sorted, get a pic up of the beast if you have time once its all built!
