Hi. Can anyone explain the reason for this BIOS release?
It claims to "Set the default GEN5 option in PCI_E1 to Auto".
What's that about?
It just seems odd that - on an "Older" Board - something that seems trivial, should require a BIOS update release of it's own?
Other BIOS updates (for 7D70 models at least) have some basis for, or cause to, their creation - like Security, Stability, Compatibility, User Requests etc.
There's no mention I've found here in the forums of any PCI_E Gen5 issues. That kind-of rules-out User Requests.
Nor does this this update seem to be Security or Stability related.
