Thank you for your reply. I tried this, but unfortunately, no luck. It is still stuck at the logo with error code 4d.
Oh, yeah that's different than the issue I had. I never had a boot error code, just would freeze at that screen with the error code led showing the CPU temp.

Thank you anyway. The error code is also pretty meaningless. If you google it, there are several entries from various manufacturers spread over the last 20 years. So nothing helpful in my eyes.

I've already tried tweaking my memory settings quite a bit. Depending on the configuration, the system doesn't boot and gets stuck on code 4D as well.
Try adjusting the RAM speed settings in the BIOS — that will probably get it to boot.

There are several of us who have the same problem and it's always with a 9800X3D. If it was a hardware problem, I don't see how enabling Spread Spectrum would fix things.
I saw the bug was fixed by a bios update on x870e Tomahwak boards, so hopefully MSI will release a fix for x870e Carbon boards soon.

I have no problem with 9800x3d and GS kill 6000 oc to 8000 and a 3090 been running it from first week 9800x3d was released have a 5090 on order should have it by end of May. I did have problem with network drivers shutting at first but I fix that.

I've also got no problem until I swtiched to PCIe gen 5 GPU (5080) from 4070Ti. That's when I started to encounter the issue.

No active cooling on the DIMM's apart from general case airflow. The temps, I believe, are not too bad. I forgot to turn them down to 1.43v, and yes, they are speced at 1.35, but they had issues running at that with the expo profile. As for the VDDIO, it has to be read wrong. I believe VDDIO is higher than that. On the VDDG, my IO voltages are at 1.020v and 1.060v, respectively.

Edit:
In regards to temperature, the GSKILL RAM I have found doesn't really have much issue keeping cool at highish temps. I could go down to 1.42v with my current settings, but that's not enough for these pushed timings. I'm getting no errors with my current setup, but I will have to double-check temps. I wouldn't consider, from what I've read online, that 1.45 is high compared to others I've seen by buildzoid and other RAM overclockers. They did not mention having specified cooling on the DIMM's apart from when it was running at 1.5V+
I personally run my sticks @1.62v vs 1.45 stock(for 2 months now, never saw my memory temps going beyond 41c), so temps should not be an issue at all in your case.

One code is missing, which is "--." This is all I got from one of my MSI Z790 ACE motherboard. Everything lights up, the fans are spinning, but there is no debug code, only two middle lines. The system shut down normally the day before, but when I turned it on again, this issue occurred. At that point, one memory bank was unresponsive, and I couldn't flash the BIOS, not even using the USB method on an empty board. The only thing that saved the board was the second BIOS. Once I switched to that, I was able to flash it to the latest version and got new memory banks. The board came back to life. Unfortunately, the first BIOS is permanently damaged and unusable. I never could figure out what caused this catastrophic failure. The CPU was OK 14900K

New bios, benches are down again, also seems to hate ram at high speed, didn't have much time to tweak it yet, but for now I'm not impressed. (I can't push past 8280MHz on this one using the same voltage as before.)
