How are your speeds showing up for DDR6400? I'm unable to get it stable without reducing timings so much that the performance tanks under tighter timings at 6200/fclk 2067. Can't seem to get anywhere near fclk2200.

Memory settings and timings are as follows:
XMP Enable 6400 Mhz
MCLK=UCLK (3200=3200)
FCLK=2200
Memory Efficiency mode= Tightest

Ahh, ok. Nice speeds. I need more ram than 32G for some of my work functions so am running dual-rank Hynix-A (Corsair Dominator Titanium 6400). I might continue to play around with it to see if I can get it as fast as my 6200 settings in 6400, but it was fairly behind when I was able to get 6400 stable. Are you seeing any impact on CPU performance by running the tightest memory efficiency mode?

Memory efficiency mode doesn't make a big difference to CPU performance. I haven't noticed any change.

9800X3D, this BIOS runs well on my system, allowing CO 40 All Core, ( since I have the system, I can set max 40 or 30 depending on the BIOS) +OC200 + 6400 CL 36 + FCLK 2200. Those are my tuning settings, which I consider my golden settings if the system is stable. No crashes in games; Cyberpunk shows an increase of over 170 generated frames (not FPS) over the previous bios. DCS doesn't crash or stutter in very demanding map scenarios; AIDA64 runs stable for 15 minutes. I don't see a need to torture the CPU longer, as if it crashes, it usually does so either immediately or after about 5 to 10 minutes in my experience. No errors during booting, so far so good. I have yet to play with Curve Optimizer and try RAM at 8000 or 8200; it is Corsair Titanium 72000, 48 GB CL 36.
Funny thing I noticed with my system and CPU is that if CO works with 40, it's great. However, if it doesn't, it's unstable at any setting from 30+, say 36, 35, 32, but 30 is stable. If 40 is working fine, then obviously there's no need to go lower. So far, this is the third BIOS I remember working with CO at 40.
I do have a 420 AIO Corsair h170i Elite LCD

Do you want to try turning off the hypervisor? It will give you much better ns numbers

Something else I found, and I don't know if this option was available before on the x870e Carbon WiFi, is that when pressing F8 during boot, it enters profile saving mode. Now, the OC profiles can be saved and loaded, which makes OC/tuning a bit easier, as you can apply back the settings that work best for you.

Yeah, I don't know about F8 at boot taking you directly there, but the profile save and load functions have been there at the top of the BIOS screen in Advanced mode. They will persist through a bios reset too, helping restore known stable settings, but are wiped during a BIOS flash (and shouldn't be used if they weren't since some entire options may be replaced or tolerances changed between versions).

I don't know what MSI and their team did with this A50 but it's best BIOS I've tried so far. Finally running CO -40 on All X3D cores, +200, scalar 10x. Fully stable
Have to agree. I'm still tuning my RAM but it's almost done and getting better scores now than I was before. Just running -20 CO but with a -10/-5/0 curve Shaper profile, and it's been rocking.
Hoping by tomorrow I can start dropping the CS numbers further.
I also found the system is much more stable with less vSoC, running better at 1.2 than I did at 1.27 or 1.3...

New bios have appeared but currently for other boards. And new changes.
- Improve memory compatibility.
- Fix system freeze after using specific memory and running M-FLASH.

daily profiles:

The new A50 BIOS definitely uses other (auto) resistance/ ODTs. It seems that MSI has optimized a little here. I 'd have to test the 6400 profile with the BIOS again. The old BIOS required quite a lot of vSOC for 6400 MT/s. Normally it's CPU related, but maybe the new BIOS will help.

With A50 BIOS, I'm never stucked under PCI 3.0 (1.1 or 2.0) speed but I still need Speed Spectrum to achieve 4.0 everytime. The phenomenon is also less common.

I've had it off for my testing and it's been hitting 5.0 every boot. So they've definitely improved that somehow.
Whether it'll crop up again or stay that way? We'll see...

I received the RTX 5090 and decided to format the PC. However, when I connected the USB with the Windows 11 installer, the motherboard running BIOS version A50 didn’t recognize it. Additionally, the wireless mouse (model M65) would freeze whenever the USB was plugged in.

I reverted to BIOS version A44, and with that version, the motherboard recognized the installation USB correctly, and the mouse issue was resolved. I don't think I'll reinstall BIOS A50 until they release an update that fixes these issues.

I use a Logitech Keyboard, mouse and 4 external usb HDDs I have no problems with the A50 bios. Have you tried plugging it into a different usb port and installing it?
